In the spirit of Giving Tuesday and my many years as a teacher, administrator, parent, and current member of the Board of Trustees, here are a few Grymes memories:

The magic of teaching kindergarteners and first graders to read, trying to decipher early writing, and playing guitar and singing with our youngest students. 

Third grade, one of my favorite memories was our annual grandparents day which included interviewing grandparents or special friend and writing and illustrating their biography as part of a special box gift - this was the beginning of what is now Grandfriend's Day for the entire school’s grandparent community!

As librarian, the traditions of Book Week culminating in a rowdy assembly competition “Name That Book.”
