Everyone thinks stories are just for reading and learning. But, sometimes they have a different purpose. In this situation, stories show us the consequences of our actions. The story that best demonstrates that stories show us the consequences of our actions is a Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury. I chose this story and reason because this story best demonstrates how a small mistake or change can have dangerous and unpleasant consequences. I can prove this by stating the following statement in the text. “"All right," Travis continued, "say we accidentally kill one mouse here. That means all the future families of this one particular mouse are destroyed, right?""Right.""And all the families of the families of the families of that one mouse! With a stamp of your foot, you annihilate first one, then a dozen, then a thousand, a million, a billion possible mice!". This claim matters because sometimes we make bad choices and actions in life and stories help us learn how to deal with the consequences and how to prevent it from happening next time. It tells us how we as humans can’t be perfect and make mistakes but stories tell us how, whatever the action may be, there will be consequences.

Keerthana- I agree in the way that it does show a different side of Hitler. We never really got much information about his family or his parents until this story. Mostly because it was very apparent that one of them would be dying, but who ended up dying was the actual suprising part. We didnt know till the end of the story that the wife had planned to kill herself the whole time, and frame him for her murder so that he'd have to live with it for the rest of his life.
