The entire coastline is part of the Costa de la Luz.<br><br>MONUMENTS <br><strong> 1.  THE OLD CATHEDRAL OF CADIZ (Catedral Vieja de Cádiz)</strong><br>The Old Cathedral of Cadiz, or Church of Santa Cruz, located in the city of Cadiz  is a construction that dates from 1262-1263 and was rebuilt in the Mannerist and Baroque style in the 17th century.<br>This cathedral was built by order of King Alfonso X of Castile, The Wise, who ordered a church to be built on the remains of an Arab mosque.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Gran Teatro Falla is a theatre in Cadiz, located in Plaza Fragela, opposite the Casa de las Viudas and next to the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Cadiz. It was built in 1905 and inaugurated in 1910. In the neo-Mudejar style, it is built in red brick, and has three large horseshoe arch doors on its main facade, with alternating voussoirs in red and white.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, the Santa Catalina Castle is the oldest military construction in Cadiz. From it, you can see the Caleta de Santa Catalina beach.<br>The construction of this fortress began in 1598, although the work wasn't completed until 1621.<br>In 1769, Charles III assigned it to a military prison and it had this function until 1991.</div>]]></description>
