Good questions Harrison. I like to think I would have been brave like Wilma. I definitely would not have given up.
Good question Jalen. How could our country allow that to happen? You have to wonder how many children like Wilma never had a chance at an education because of health issues.

Why is there gravel in the beginning? I’m surprised that when Wilma could walk she ran or jumped instead. I wonder why the school would not let Wilma attend? I didn't know that Wilma was good at Basketball, and brought her team to the championship. I wonder what her team name was? I was surprised that Wilma had won 3 gold medals.

I can not imagine being double sick if someone got a flu, cold, or fever.

I am inferring that she has a hard time with being sick, because she has 19 older siblings.

Me to, Mr. Herring how many African Americans died from being poor and not enough money to get health care. I wonder how much money Wilma’s mother had for all of the children she had!

I think Wilma is smart, and really strong because even though she had one paralyzed leg she still hopped around on the other leg. Mr. Herring: I think she could have because she was very strong when her leg was paralyzed, I mean she was hopping…..on one foot! Also it must be hard being crippled, because you can't walk.
