yet an official use emails existence has replaced the existence of handwritten official letters to electronic mail which can be sent from one place another in a matter of seconds, adding to a bigger cause in case of an emergency and maintaining records and data which can be accessed to from any digital device from a mobile phone to a computer.
whereas a text message was to send short and instant messages.
and these text messages cant be documented is the first reason the second the informal approach which is rather not acceptable, and in a professional context an insult,
thus leading to a conclusion that emails to be preferred over text messages any day in terms for formal writing.
