What can improve on?

This is a landscape photo created in New York City in 1973.I think this image is intended for everyone of any age group and not just a specific age group.

There are a few textures in this images,from what i can see this photo looks clear,soft and silky.
The color pallets that are used are light and dark colors, the subject has dark colors on here but the background its self is dark.
