         <title>Ordering rational numbers</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Standard 5<br> All this standard really does is line up and order  rational numbers. When ordering rational numbers ask yourself if you are ordering numbers  from least to greatest or greatest to least. Once you know that you can see which of (if any negative numbers) are the biggest and smallest. You can do this by thinking the negative number that would look bigger if it was positive, is actually smaller because it is further away from zero. (You can do this as many times as nessesary). Then you can look at the positive numbers (if any) and then order normally. By this I just mean using your head logically to see what and what doesn't make sense for ordering.<br>Below are my two examples of ordering rational numbers.</div>]]></description>

All you have to do is find the spot where the number would stand on the number line, and than mark it. Below are my two examples.<br>P.S number lines go on forever, (they just don't show it because that would literally take forever), which means you can plot any number you want.</div>]]></description>

Also, negative numbers can be used when saying how many feet (or any other form of measurement) you went backwards or lost.<br>You can use positive numbers in real world contexts when being given or gaining something. Also, you can use positive numbers when you go forwards by a certain amount.<br>P.S, I forgot to put this in my videos, but zero in each situation would be neither represented by a positive or negative number.</div>]]></description>
