Are there any moral or ethical dilemmas presented in the story? If so, how do you feel about the characters' choices in these situations?

There are many moral and ethical dilemmas presented in the story. Some good examples are when Ben was deciding whether or not to leave Greg and risk getting caught. I feel that his actions have positively impacted the animals around him allowing him to discover his ability to talk to animals later in the story.

There are many things that are similar between me and Ben. For example, we both like animals. Reading the book, it makes me sad to hear about animals dying and being killed. Another similarity is that we are both young. We both know how to ride bikes, and we both enjoy riding bikes. Ben and I also both own dogs.

Some differences between me and Ben, are that we live in different places. Ben lived in the bushes, and is heading to Sydney, while I live in Adelaide. Ben also has an ability to call animals, to communicate with them, an ability I do not have.

Have there been any surprises in the story so far?

The fact that Raja now has some sort of trust in Ben is a big surprise. When they were locked together, I thought Ben would've been killed. There's also another surprise in the story. Which is the fact that Greg died. In my eyes I always viewed Greg as the leader to survival, and I never thought that Ben would be able to "kill" him.

If you could change one thing about the story so far, what would it be and why?

If I could change one thing about the story, I would change the route that Ben took originally that made hem get captured by Raj, resulting in the loss of his dog.

How has the main character changed or evolved? Are there any significant character development moments?

Ever since Ben has followed Ellie to Taronga, Ben developed trust issues for others, not knowing whether or not to even trust Ellie.

How are the book's themes or messages relevant to your own life or the world around you?

The book has a theme of survival. In life, sometimes you have to push through obstacles even if you do not want to, in order to survive.

Martin looks to the left and sees a half dead woman. It was the fat woman he could tell, as she was very fat. He turns to the right, and almost dies.

As she pushes the stop button. The birds outside the window stop flying, pausing in the sky, and now, it's just her and Martin moving. Time comes to an end, and the fat lady walks out the elevator, walking through walls and walking to the skies. "Wait!" Martin cries, but its too late. She has already gone. The fat lady morphs into a buddha in the skies, and watches over Martin like a mama bird. The buddha's green aura slowly spread over the skies, polluting the Earth.
