Our names are Antigone, Julie, Helen and we are 11 years old. We are from Greece and we live in Amyntaio.

Greece is mountainous with green plains. It borders with Albania , Bulgaria, Skopja and Turkey. Greece has got many rivers

and the biggest is Aliakmonas. It has also got a lot of islands.

The weather is very cold in winter and warm in summer but it rains the most of the time.

People in Greece are friendly. Many tourists from

other countries are having their holiday in summer in the most popular island of Greece

It’s fantastic to live in Greece because it’s a multicultural country and has got many beaches to have fun in summer .

These next 4 words can describe Greece: 1. Diversity It is like a miniature world , really amazing beaches for every taste , snow covered mountains that reaches the clouds, lakes and rivers with crystal water , thousands of islands. 2.History This country has been through a lot , but the invaders never truly conquered her. Until today , Greece has managed to remain a crossroad of cultures. 3.Climate This country has a secret weapon, the perfect climate conditions. Never too cold, still never too hot.Greece is the perfect destination during every season. 4. INDRODUCTION

Greece belongs to Europe. It’s a Balcanic peninsula and her capital is Athens. There is Akropoli, Parthenon and House of Parliament.

We have too many islands like Mykonos, Rodos, Zakynthos, Crete and Kerkyra. In Greece we have got dry summers and cold winters.

The population is about 10,8milion. Greece border with Albania, Skopia, Bulgaria and Turkey.

The highest mountain in Greece is Olympos, his high is 1.917m. and it’s belong to Thesallia and a small part of it’s in Macedonia. The longest river in Greece is Aliakmonas, his long is 322m. and it’s in West Macedonia. The biggest lake is Trichonida. Her depth is 58m. and located in Sterea Ellada.

CONCLUSION

My country is Greece. It's found in the South-West of Europe.It's a very beautiful country.

It has very beautiful sea and fantastic islands. Many people come for summer holidays. The summer is very hot.

Greece's national holidays are 28th October when we celebrate "No" day. March 25th we celebrate the start of the revolution.

Greece's traditional cuisine includes Mousaka, bean soup, Pastitsio and stuffed vegetables. Our food is very delicious.
