They opened the doors one the 3 phases of opening had all been met. Once all criteria had been met the doors would open to the public, they would set this time to be around 8pm opening time if they have not done all the things set in the list they will open later until all things had been done. The stage management crew would have an overlook of all the stuff done and we would walk around to make sure everything is done to let the security team know when to open the doors for the public. The stage management crew had a link that would be shared with the security team of rate of entry every 15 minutes. On the day of my work experience we had 3 stages open and it wouldn’t get busy until around 11pm. While working round handing out drug notices on a new drug that had been sighted being passed around, we walked to the entrance and noticed that there were nails on the floor from construction that had been previously done. We spent around 30 minutes picking up nails from the floor as this was a health and safety issue. These could be used to cause harm to other public members that would come to the venue. On the day I was there it was very quiet and the venue can hold 10,000 people and at the time I was there at 10pm we only had a small crowd in of just under 1000 people. This changes depending on what kind of music and DJs are on at the time. The head lining DJ for when I was there was Jaime XX. This was not a popular genre of music as before I left at 10PM they head count went up to 2000. Before I left me and the stage management crew walked to the front of the building to make sure everything was running as it should be and the covid station was doing their check ups if the public didn’t have their covid passes they would have to do a covid test.
