Signal mountain

From the lake, take the short drive up signal mountain. Leaving from the Signal Mountain Parking Lot, the Signal Mountain Trail winds up a forested mountainside to the summit of Signal Mountain. In the summit you can see a sublime visual symphony.

The Signal Mountain Lodge sits at the base of Signal Mountain and along the shore of Jackson Lake.
Signal Mountain offers a variety of services to visitors. Stay at the lodge or campground, grab a meal at one of the restuarants, rent a boat from the marina, or visit one of the shops.

Horseback Riding

Horses have been part of Rocky Mountain National Park's tradition since its designation in 1915. Horseback riding and packing are managed to maintain the natural resources and unique ecosystems in the park. Recreation pack animal use is balanced with other recreational uses, such as hiking. Horses, mules, ponies, llamas, and burros are allowed on park trails. No goats are allowed on park trails.
