Designed for Victorians looking to escape the everyday, the project documents rainforests, mountain ranges, coastal walks and islands just a few hours from Melbourne through original photography, personal experiences and practical trip information. The site combines visual storytelling with interactive maps, curated destination guides and planning resources to make exploring Victoria feel simple, accessible and rewarding.

More than a travel website, PLAIN SIGHT reflects my appreciation for curiosity, sustainability and slowing down to notice what's already around us. Amidst an epidemic of instant image gratification with people using smartphones to take quick snaps to add to the world of endless scrolling, I choose film photography. This slower, more intentional (albeit performative) method of photography has allowed me to become more enwrapped in fragile moments of time I have experienced while abroad.

As the website functions as an 'exhibition' of my work, each image and page of the website will include a caption detailing the main concepts and story behind each piece, as well as short descriptions of aesthetics that differentiate each page from the other.

I hope users can use this website to either assist in expanding their intention behind similar visual mediums, or use it as a 'aesthetic look-book' to help search for visual identifiers or emotional reactions that they would also like to explore.

There's so much music out there right now. It's spread across so many platforms, genres, subgenres, scenes. As someone discovering music it gets confusing fast, and it's hard to know where to even start or whether a musician is worth your time. You might come across a name, maybe a recommendation, but then what?

That's why a website matters. It gives a musician a home, a place where everything about who they are sits in one spot. Their brand, their sound, their story. It makes them findable and it makes them clear.

That's what I'm trying to fix. I want to build a website for my band that communicates who we are. It'll be expressive enough to drive interest but also practical, showing upcoming shows, new music, who we are. The design does the heavy lifting. Bold visuals, strong typography, movement. It should feel like the band, not just describe it.

My audience is anyone who loves F1 but also appreciates the visual and sensory side of the sport such as the pit lane, the people, the weather, the small moments between the big ones. I want to connect with fellow fans, but also with people who simply enjoy good photography and honest storytelling.

What makes my site a little different is that I want it to feel immersive. Alongside my photography, I'm experimenting with incorporating sounds from the Grand Prix, engines, rain on the pit lane, crowd noise, so that visiting the site feels like being trackside. The visual identity draws from the bold colour palette of F1 itself: the red of Ferrari, the wet grey of a Melbourne race day. I want people to leave the site feeling like they've experienced something, not just looked at a portfolio. It's early in my creative journey, but this website is where I'm documenting it, from nothing to something.

My website is a beginner's guide to coffee. I drink it almost every day, but honestly I drink it for the caffeine. I've never really paid attention to how it tastes or what's behind it. I couldn't tell you why one coffee tastes different from another, where the beans come from, or what roasting actually does. Since I have it every day anyway, I thought it'd be fun to finally learn, so the site is me figuring all that out and laying it out in a simple way.

It works more like a visual breakdown than a blog. There's a flavour wheel, a chart of the roast levels, the main espresso drinks shown by how much milk vs coffee goes into them, and some photos from Melbourne cafes. I edited all the images the same way so the whole thing looks like one proper site instead of a random pile of stock photos.

It's for people who drink coffee without really thinking about it, or who want to get into it and don't know where to start.

Throughout history music has been transformed by people willing to break rules. From unconventional performance techniques to forgotten instruments, the ideas that are most important to our listening experience today were deemed strange or impossible.

I would love to use my platform to demonstrate these techniques in easy to understand formats: whether through audio or visual stimulus. I intend to prioritise the website being interactable through animations and videos as I find that this will be the best teaching and engaging tool.

Last semester, I took a subject called Artificial Intelligence. The project given to us was a new board game called Cascade. We had to build an agent, in a team of two, that could play it as well as possible.

Cascade is an abstract strategy game — pieces stack, chain reactions ripple across the board, and every move has consequences for turns ahead. The catch is that your agent plays against opponents in a Swiss-bracket tournament, under a strict time limit. All project submissions against each other.

My partner and I built ours with a search engine that explores millions of game states per second, and a neural network evaluation function trained on its own self-play data. We drew inspiration from the strongest chess engines ever written.
