From the beginning teachers during this era encouraged students to use these calculators to double check their answers rather than rely on them.

This was one of the main forms of technology you would see in a classroom in the 1980s. they were used to watch informational movies in class. However, they were not in every classroom. Therefore classes would have to take turns whenever they needed to watch something.

2000- Desktops

This HP desktop was the latest form of technology during the time that my sister was in High School. There was enough desktops in the classroom for all students in the class. This gave them access to the work they needed to get done. It was convenient because they could access their work elsewhere as long as they have internet access.

2000-E-textbooks

With hybrid learning being introduced, E-textbooks in the classroom were getting popular as well. This new form of technology allowed students to access the material they need online. Useful for students who might need to catch up or work from home.

2024- Ipads

In the recent century, we have made several new technology advancements. due to this, students have more access to newer and quicker technology. Along with personal chromebooks, some classrooms also have personal Ipads. these however stay in the classrooms. since they are more expensive, the schools have only a few ipads therefore classes take turns with the ipads. They allow students to play educational games that correlate with their lessons and also gives them quick access to their work. They work as a way to motivate the students.

2024- Chromebooks

Chromebooks have made technology in the classroom so much more accessible and and easier for students to access from their homes when they have personalized chromebook for each student. In recent years schools rent out a chromebook to the student for the whole school year. Most teachers rely on technology for their lessons now. It keeps the students engaged and motivates them to want to learn.
