I appreciate the art of discovery, so instead of just prescribing to the learners what they should be thinking, I aim to make them the center, in so doing also establishing their level of understanding and building from there. This will immensely prepare learning for when they will be required to form part of the working class and collaborate with individuals to solve problems and reach goals. Therefore, I aim to follow examples like the likes of Gruwell and take time to get to know my learners, and teach based upon what is relevant to them, instead of merely teaching a curriculum to receive a salary at the end of the month.
