Commonwealth advantage:

While not a full-fledged trading bloc, this 'Commonwealth Advantage' allows member states to trade up than 20% more to non-members, at a fraction of the cost. up to 20% more and an average of 21%. The research shows these countries are investing more inside the Commonwealth than outside up to 27%, nearly tripling the level of investment five years ago, at 10% (Scotland, 2020).

Strengthening the Commonwealth Advantage:

These changes affect the technology, data, legal and ethical governance that underpin the goods, services, and digital markets we consume and transact. As a mid-sized company, we have strategically evaluated our export market options based on the cultural compatibility and accessibility of each market, as well as the size of the opportunities. From offices in the UK and Australia, we can serve customers in more than 40 countries, backed by 24/7 tracking. Traders and investors benefit from familiar legal and administrative systems, business, and legislative practices. This cultural similarity extends to rivalries in sports and even to family ties created by generations of immigrants in the community. Many of these benefits are not evident at the beginning of our international journey (Vega, 2021).

The Commonwealth advantage and trade costs:

Commonwealth Prosperity and Trade Costs Although Commonwealth countries have enjoyed trade cost advantages, there are other ways to streamline regulatory and trade procedures, which will open huge opportunity economic, large and could further enhance this advantage. For instance, on average, the transaction costs of small countries are estimated to be at least 50% higher than those of developing countries. Many policy initiatives can be taken to minimize commercial costs. These include, among other things, improved logistics performance; improve the efficiency of road, air, and sea transport; rationalize and simplify international traffic regimes and regulations behind borders; and improve trade facilitation. Commonwealth member states also benefit from a range of tools, toolkits, and model laws to help strengthen institutions and governance relationships to bring members together and help facilitate for trade and investment within the community (The Commonwealth trade, 2018).

The Commonwealth advantage and Technology:

The increasing use of new digital technologies, including further digitization, has transformed the prospect of commercialized sustainable growth prospects for many of the poorest members. When combined with the impact of the many shared mission, including Common Law that forms the basis of international law, the Commonwealth of effects and interests creates many tangible business benefits for stakeholders, traders and investors. In an era of innovation technological, members of the Commonwealth are making amazing strides in accessing and operating new digital and other technologies to further trade and investment and transform their prospects sustainable development (The Commonwealth trade 2018).

The Commonwealth advantage economic:

While paying close attention to the economic impacts of the pandemic, I remain cautiously hopeful that the potential for intra-community commerce will act as a lifeline in dark times. By taking advantage the Commonwealth and strong policy responses, countries can high important trade and investment flows that only ocur at the end of the tunnel. A slowdown in the economy of China (a major trading partner), a drop in tourism and travel, as well as a drop in oil prices will inevitably cause economic stress for members. Although, investment flows in areas such as e-commerce, digital technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, and biotechnology could intensify, as companies move to online, and Countries accelerate to market vaccines and other medical treatments (Scotland, 2020).

The Commonwealth advantage Politics:

Various political arrangements have influenced how addresses a pandemic issue. Several political ambience are more complex than others. Federal system (e.g., Australia and Canada) involves overlapping authority; Complexities may also exist with developed regulatory bodies (e.g., UK). The unit system seems simpler. However, a high degree of cooperation can be achieved within a federation. Similarly, integrated systems can have significant conflicts. As the pandemic progressed, increase in some countries on a left-to-right tension. Governments and left-wing parties are more likely to advocate more restrictive health measures and more aggressive economic stimulus measures. Meanwhile, further pressure was placed on the right to act swiftly to loosen the lockdowns and be more sensitive to business concerns (Twomey A. 2020).
