I grew up in Watkins Glen, NY, a small town on the Finger Lakes. I recently went back this summer and got to hike and visit family.

I moved to Longmont, CO, at 16 and fell in love with the mountains; backpacking, skiing, hiking, and biking have all become major hobbies. After I graduated, I became a trained phlebotomist and fell in love with healthcare. I chose Fort Lewis because of the new nursing program in a place full of beautiful mountains.

I am a very proud mother of over 30 plants. I got my first monstera in April 2023, and then I fell in love with growing so many different kinds of life.

I am also an avid road-tripper whenever possible, so far going to most of the western national parks. This picture is from Redwoods National Park in the spring of 2024, one of my favorite places I've ever been.
