When an object is desired by persons, tussles quickly ensue to establish ownership. This may ultimately lead to the destruction of the object. Although the 'object' may be physical, emotional possession may still be cause for conflict. When possession of attention and affection is contested by internal or external forces, irrational bouts and rivalries to establish dominance over the attention of adults or group members themselves occur. When an obstacle comes between a person and a given task, aggression usually follows. Their frustration is vented through unrelated objects or persons. Vast improvements have also been made to tactical weaponry in the army through technology, increasing their destructive power. It is essential to the sustainability of life, leisure, and our global economy. Hence, sustainable management of it should be our priority. Failure to do so will lead to "water scarcity' in the coming years. Although plans have already been implemented, new strategies must be executed to effectively conserve and distribute water to all people, regardless of their class or well-being. Conservation practices help to reduce poverty, improve people's health, and protect the environment. Though change may not be imminent, highlighting water as an integral part of human development hand allowing water to be accessible to the impoverished helps us to safeguard this resource for future generations.

To be well informed, our time and efforts must be focused on gaining that distributed information. The Internet is broken and corrupted,
 the battle ground of the corrupt soldiers who lay down their lives behind a screen, too afraid to step forward and make a change.
 
 You have a voice.
 That is all you need now to be different,
 but to make a difference,
 you have to use your voice.
 For good, for what you believe,
 you have to use your voice to its advantage,
 take the virtual battle into the real world.
 
 But why doesn't this happen?
 I'll tell you why.
 
 Media censorship,
 Media propaganda,
 Media control
 
 The media have caused fear and anxiety of stepping up and shouting out.
 By forcing images and thoughts onto people,
 
 A subliminal mind ****,
 
 You don't have to be visible,
 Or even have your name known to make a difference,
 It's not confidence that will help, rather it is anger at the oppression.
 
 Anger at the media.
 Break out.
 Fight for your beliefs,
 And never surrender to the propaganda.

We give credence to what we see.  However, informants can become opinionated just to sell their story. I wanted to know how it shapes our thinking about different demographics. Hence, my topic under consideration is "How Traditional Media influences Prejudice in Society."

Prejudice leads to perpetual ignorance and suppressed thinking. Feeling gratification from another human’s degradation is unacceptable. Simple jokes can lead to labels directed towards a demographic, leading to disastrous consequences. promotion of certain ideologies on social media was never foreign to me, but the blog by Jordan Foster exposed me to the effects of relying on social media to influence my views on different demographics. Usually, the anti-social behaviors of these groups are portrayed on social media.  Educating myself about these groups of people before relying on social media’s toxic stereotypes is something I will prioritize in the future. The poem inspired me to revolt against the oppression that is propagated by today’s media, to stop watching oppression happen from the shadows. I now understand that prejudice affects both the oppressor and the oppressed negatively. The use of words such as “perpetuate” and “suppress” demands consideration by the reader using high modality. The use of succinct sentences allowed the reader to examine each effect carefully. Jordan Foster’s use of simple but direct speech allowed readers to clearly understand the message portrayed by the blog. Readers were able to visualize how close-minded they may become when social media was compared to an “echo chamber” by the writer. The use of statistics added credibility to the blog and strengthened the overall message of awareness. By contrast, the poem’s use of fierce and informal language perfectly encapsulates the message of rebelliousness. By comparing the Internet to a battlefield, the reader is given a common enemy to revolt against in the form of the Media.
