Meanwhile, Percy Jackson, who also has dyslexia and ADHD, is attacked by Fury in the museum his class visits. After that, his friend Grover and his teacher reveals to him that he is a demigod. He is taken to Half-Blood camp in the forest of New York but on the way, Hades kidnaps his mother. At the camp, he learns that his mother is in the underground. Percy decides to go underground with his friends Grover and Annabeth to rescue his mother.  Three of them fight against Medusa and a hydra to go underworld. In the underground, they confront Hades and save the mother of Percy. Percy understands that Luke who is another demigod tricked gods and hid the lightning inside of Percy's shield. Percy fights against Luke in front of Olympus and defeats him.
