I hope you all had a well deserved break and enjoyed the holidays. I'd like to wish you all a very happy New Year and every sincere good wish for the year ahead.

Just  a reminder that we will be looking forward to seeing our pupils on Thursday morning as we reopen after our Christmas holidays.

If it is raining please ask your child to wait in the shelter until doors open at 9.05.

As we begin the New Year I would like to welcome you all back and glad to see that our  staff and pupils are all looking rested after their holidays.

We have had some issues with our heating system and hopefully this problem will be resolved over the weekend. 

I thank you for your patience with the situation.

Please find attached letter from the HSE that we have been advised to share with you.

One key message is that we encourage our pupils to maintain the high standard of  hand hygiene which we embedded  in all classes during Covid. 

We hope to continue with our Monday 1K run weather permitting so don't forget the spare shoes, socks and dry little towel.

We are all very proud of two pupils from 4th Class who competed in the National Cross County Championship uneven ages on Sunday  the 4th of December in St. Catherines AC Conna.

Out of approximately  160 runners , both  Liam Foley   (9th place) and Darragh Moloney  (5th place) now have brought home All Ireland Medals.

Along with this they both won Gold Provincial & Bronze County All Ireland medals.

What an amazing achievement for these two superb athletes.
