      Since 1950, the population has quickly increased. According to Worldometers, in 1950 there was 13,628,428. Now in 2017, they have a big 56,717,156. This has an impact because we can eventual y have to much people in a short amount of time. To many people lead to food shortages.

Visitors from all around the world come to take advantage of the incredible wildlife. The large varieties of habitat types make it possible for so many species to thrive.  These include exciting predators, birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and a huge variety of fascinating insects. Many of these animals help tribes and villages in South Africa, and make some countries who they are.

On these plateaus are highveld (grasslands) and bushveld (tree-dotted plains). The impact is the grass lands have the soil to grow plants and trees.
Famous Landforms:
There are many beutiful landforms in South Africa. Some are the Congo river, which is 2,900 miles long, the Sahara, largest hot dessert in the world, and many more.

The country’s diamond industry is the fourth-largest in the world, with only Botswana, Canada and Russia producing more diamonds each year. Although well over a century old, South Africa’s mining industry is far from fully tapped. The country is a treasure trove, with mineral deposits only matched by some countries of the former Soviet Union. If the mining ever went cold or stopped in Africa it can completely devastate South Africa's economy, and the countries surrounding it.

The country is able to produce many different types of crops.  South Africa can be expected to take a big hit in agriculture.  Agriculture only makes up a small part of the countries in Africa. The Zambezi River in South Africa collects water from the entire south- central part of Africa. This river flows through Angola, Zambia, along the border of Zimbabwe and through Mozambique to the Indian Ocean. This provides fluid for the people living here to drink. South Africa has many vineyards that grow very well= on plateaus and Zimbabwe has tea plantations that grow well on plateaus. Climate influenced the settlements in Africa because the people here have to cope with the changing weather and it makes agriculture difficult. Climate affects economy because the crops can't grow and if they can't feed the people or trade the crops then they will have no money.
