I think the quote by Steve Jobs is about how people will do better and become more successful in a job that they love doing. Some people may not like their jobs which could be because they are doing it for the money or they feel pressured by their family to earn an income to support them. In the quote he says that it is important to keep searching for a job until you have found one that you love. However not everyone will find a job that they will enjoy.

I think this quote by Steve Jobs is about the only way to do your best is to be in the environment that your are most comfortable in and love doing to achieve you goals easier. Steve Jobs is also saying that if you doing enjoy or love your job go find another one that better suits you. Some people don't love their job however the only reason why people are doing it is for the money to support their family or they feel pressured by their family to earn money to live and be independent.

He says this as this is the only way to achieve satisfaction from your jobs therefore making your life better. If you like your job then you will become more productive.

I think that the quote does have some merit, but not everyone is going to love their job. I don't think that everyone is going to enjoy it, some people need multiple jobs to pay their rent and at least one of those jobs is going to be terrible. It does have some merit because the more you love your job, the more you will naturally succeed in that profession, but even if you do not like your job, you will still be able to succeed if you are determined and ambitious enough. Loving your job is the best reason to get that certain job, but it is very unrealistic for most people. If you don't love your job, you will come to dread going there, but that is life and you need to do what you need to do so that you can have a roof over your head.

Although Steve Jobs idea of successful work is relevant in today’s society these beliefs are unrealistic for the majority of workers. To maintain a structured society people must work to gain an income, not for passion. For example, most rubbish collectors do not enjoy their jobs but are forced to, enabling them to provide food for their families. In many jobs, people effectively accomplish their work although they do not enjoy it, controversy to Steve Jobs beliefs that ‘the only way to do great work is to love what you do’.

I think that it is not possible for everyone to love their job. There are people who aren’t fortunate in choosing what job they have and must do a job that allows them to provide for their families. Loving your job would definitely give motivation to do the job well and perhaps in a quicker period of time, however people don’t just work because they love their job. They provide for themselves, they provide for their families and/or friends. I think it is possible to do great work without loving your job although it would definitely be easier if you did.

The main reason for working is to earn money, while important, loving your job is mostly secondary. Whether a person loves their job is a matter of option, but I believe it is possible for most people to love a job, although I do think certain mindsets make it easier and harder to achieve this. I don’t think it needs to be a “great” job but a person must feel satisfied doing it in order to love and enjoy it.

Steve Job's quote does highlight how you should love the job you work but it isn't that simple to get a job you love if you lack what it needs. Most people are motivated by money and what is closest to where they live when looking for a job and most people need that money to support a family or pay off their living situation or any loans. Most people can't afford to attend a school with an 82% graduation rate like Steve Jobs. Sometimes you can't get out of jobs you dislike to take a chance on another job you may like because if it fails it could ruin your money and living situation and affect others close to you not just yourself.

not everybody will enjoy their job, their jobs may pay quite a lot of money, but that doesn't mean they will enjoy it, the quote tells us that efficiency in the work force comes from enjoying the job you are in. The main reason for having a job is to earn money, but loving your job can play a big part in wether you keep that job and earn that money.Jobs that people wouldn't want are things like being a cleaner for messy people or a school. It is possible to do great work if you don't love your job, because you could be quaified for that type of work but not enjoy that job when you do it, but loving the job would make it much better

I don’t believe it is possible for everyone to love their jobs as there are only a limited number of jobs available in one category, people also have to do jobs that can be disgusting or boring. Working in sewers would be bad, I don’t think many people would like doing that job. People mostly work to earn money so they are able to provide a living for themselves and their families, when enough money is earned to sustain you and your family for the rest of your life then loving your job would become the most important aspect of working. It is possible but is harder to do great work while doing a job you don’t like as much as another job.

Since working is a major aspect of our life that we will spend time on it has to be enjoyed. Time is finite whereas money isn't, therefore chasing money and compromising everything enjoyable is essentially contradicting the point of living. Therefore chasing something you are passionate about no matter how hard it is is the way to go. People are scared of risks and stay in their little comfort zone bubble as stability is their main focus. Better to aim high and miss then aim low and hit.

There are a few types of jobs, take labour as an example. Like a tradesman. I know a lot of people who don't think they can go anywhere in life so they just stick to this specific pathway. There may be passion there sometimes, but it may not be the case for others. I feel that for each person it would depend with what jobs wouldn't be pleasing to do.

I believe that Steve's Jobs quote strives to inspire up and coming adults who are trying to find their dream job. The quote tells us how good things come with patience and how you shouldn't settle on a something that you don't enjoy or believe in and to persevere until you find that thing. It states that "with all matters of the heart, you’ll know it when you find it.” Steve Jobs is stating how its not how good the job is in term of pay, but if you are happy and enjoy the job.

I believe that Steve Job is saying that is hard to be motivated to a do a job you don"t love cause you feel like there is no point in doing it. And instead of doing a bad job you are better of going out and searching for a job that you rely like and actually want to do for the rest of your life.

Steve says you need to passionate about the job you pick. You could pick a job that you hate, but the job may pay a lot of money. He is saying pick a job that is enjoyable and not a job you hate.

What Steve Jobs is trying to say is that your job will always be a part of your life, if you aren't happy in your occupation, how are you supposed to be happy in your life? Without a drive to do the thing you spend most of your life doing, your drive in life will be lost along with your enthusiam towards your job.
