I stood in the line with my mom.my mom said me goodbye with tears 😭 and I too 😢 then the time has been to live my mom it was cold that day was really cold... then we’ve got on the train ..... I was with my friend he’s name was Rami he was a bit sad but happy too <> I said <> he said. << uhh ok👌>> I said a bit weird. Hours and hours the train finally started. It was raining 🌧 I watched the little 💧 getting bigger and bigger and then it was pitch black and we arrived it was night and very cold a bit of light 💡 and we’ve got tho the town hall and.... it was to pick one of us and everything and somebody came towards us....

I was stood in the line waiting for the train to come I was exhausted and sad I saw my mum crying saying good bye after some few hours she went and I could smell smoke coming from eavry were so that was that the train was about to come after some few minutes the train arrived and we all went on it my brother sat with his friends and I sat with mines Sara is one of my best friends and she fall asleep 💤 in the train suddenly it started raining and then Miss Lola started vomiting 🤮 in the train so the cleaners had to go and clean it.after we got board so Emma one of my friends decided to play three in a row we did 10 goes and all of my friends fall asleep so I dicided to fall asleep to.When we arrived lots of people were asleep in the train so the teachers had to wake all of them up after we got out of the train it was pitch black we couden’t see any thing we yust could feel some wet drops and we could hear loud splashes after we arrived to the bus station and got in the bus the bus took us to a center full of houses we got down the bus and we climbed up some long stairs.After we got to the dining room and have some delicious food like hot chocolate ☕️ Some bread 🍞 some egg 🍳 and some cheese 🧀 it was all delicious 😋 after we sat in some cold and hard benches and people came to adopt us I sat at the end with Mimi one of my friends. suddenly the door opened and some one came in a big person with gray hair and a blue coat came and adopt us...

I stood in the line with my sister on my shoulders and my mom standing near me. She was searching something in her bag. It was a photo of my family. “What’s this?” I asked
"It’s a photo of us, I hope you will remember me and your dad.” My mom almost whispered. And after my brother came with three tickets in his hand. “We are....leaving in a hour!” He said
It smelled smoke. And after the policeman shouted “every one put your gasmasks on!”
My mom said “I hope everything will be good with you! I need to leave now” she gave us a bag it was heavy and ours suitcase we sat on it. We saw that she was crying. When she leaved we had to put our gas mask on it was hard beacause we were crying and our sister didn’t want to put it on she wanted to go and find her mom she was so angry. We opened the bag and there was lots of food there were some bread, jam, apples and eggs.

After when the train arrived we climbed In it and we fell asleep. I was standing on steps of the train, smoking talking to my brother. After the train went we climbed in the train. When After an hour someone woke me up it was Nicholas at first I thought it was a policeman.
I had a very bad dream about Germans how they were bombing London and other countries. “Sasha, Sasha wake up.” Nicholas whispered
"Oh Nicholas why are you here.” I almost shouted. And after I asked “were is my sister?”. “She is alright she’s playing with my brother! and do you have something to eat?” He asked. I opened my bag with food and showed it to Nicholas.
"OMG! Where did you get it from?”
"My mom gave it to us beafor leaving.” I said sadly. I took the picture from my suitcase and I hoped that I am going to see my parents again. After I went to see what my sister’s doing. She was playing With Nichalas’s brother she was rolling marbles. After I went to my brother to wake up he was snoring loudly so other people that wanted to sleep had to move on another part of the train. I got an apple for my sister as she ate it she turned green and she vomited a small warm climbed out of her apple. It was discusting it smelled as a 100 old man vomited.
"Ohh what happend here?!” My brother came with tears on his face. I gave him the photo. “Keep it please keep it....” I said to him. After Miss Nairac came and said “ We gonna have a stop on Paddington station does any one need to go to the toilet?” When we went out with my sister she nearly fell on rails but brother couch her. We went to eat on a bench and Senya sat there crying.I crept to him and I gave him an apple. “Who are You?!”
" Do not shout it’s me ....Sasha!” I screamed. Now we were going to the contry side all together after we all fell asleep but after half a hour the rain woke me up it was so loud. When I tryed to sleep my sister started to cry I gave her some bread with jam as she finished it she fell asleep on my shoulder with bread in her hand. My brother woke me up and he shouted “We arrived!”

When we got out of our train Senya was still nearly sleeping. It smelled of compost
He fell in it he smelled he smelled even worst. It was so dark I even thought that a bush was alive. Now we had to wait for the bus and we were not aloud to put lights on we all played with marbels and suddenly Senya started to cry he missed her mum. Finally the bus arrived we had to put covers over headlights because we need to see the road but we don’t want German pilots to see us. Now it’s left just 20 mins to go 10km. Finally we arrived. Nicholas smelled bad still. Me my brother and my sister we went to talk and a man with a big beard and a sigarret in his mouth and a gun in his hand...

I stood in the line, my heart broke as I saw my mom bursting into tears. It had been long waiting for the train but finally it arrived after 3 long hours. I had to say good bye to my mom and brother who had to leave for war . Miss Smith (one of the teachers who was coming with us) called are names one by one and told us we could get in the train. I heard people crying as I had a last glance of my mom. Finally we were sat on the train, my dad disappeared while he was in the war. It was a real tragedy, my mom has to leave to a factory where they make bullets and war supplies. “Are you okey Milley?” I stoped dreaming about what had happened, and responded to my best friend Cassandra. “Oh yes I’m alright, just a little bit sad because of what is happening.” “Do you have everything Cassandra?” She smiled and said “ Yes, I have my bag, gasmask and lunch!” Suddenly we heard Miss Tina say “Alright children the train just started moving. Do you all have your seatbelts on?” It went quiet and we all whispered... “Yes Miss Tina” except for Tommy that was already sleeping. He was snoring like a pig and he had saliva dripping out of his mouth! Now that was really funny ! I was feeling tired and told Cassandra I wanted to sleep. I fell asleep and when I woke up I realised I was dreaming about how it was going to be when we arrived. Half an hour later, the teachers gave us a gam and butter sandwich it was delicious ! Miss Smith gave us some cards and we played with them. It was better than I thought it would! I was starting to see a dark line getting bigger and bigger and stars were starting to appear. WOW ! Some minutes later, Miss Smith gave us carrot on a stick. Then the teachers said we were arriving in half an hour. Yeay! I opened the window and mooooo! Some cows were moooing. Ahhhh! The teachers just said we were their in 5 minutes. Suddenly Miss Tina just cried out “We are here, we arrived to Devon!” I jumped off my seat and woke Cassandra. She got scared and shouted! Everyone went silent and 5 seconds later we were laughing our heads off! Then the teachers stoped laughing and exclaimed “We are going to call your names one by one so you can get down the train and don’t forget your loggage on the train.Gas masks are very important and make shour you have your placards so that the people who are kindely taking you know some more about you.” They called my name and I raised up my hand.
I came down the bus and waited for Cassandra to come. The teachers came down the train and made us go in a single file. We walked about 15 minutes and arrived in front of a bus. It was pitch dark but we could see a little with the help of stars.
We went on the coach and sat on seats. 30 minutes past and we were still in the bus. The teachers said we were arriving in 5 minutes and we did! Miss Tina did the register and “ Milley Jhones, are you here?” I responded in the most polite way “Yes, Miss Tina I am here.” I went off the bus and walked to the line where all the children were standing two by two. Cassandra was waiting for me in the line.
I took here hand and suddenly felt like if we were moving. We walked 2 minutes and entered a pitch black room where bright eyes were everywhere. I was scared and so was Cassandra. She was gripping me by the hand and started whispering into my ear “ This is starting to be scary.” They sat on benches, they could smell tomato soup and they also gave them some milk, it was delicious.
I saw someone coming closer to Milley!

I stood in the line talking to my mum. It was quite hot for a winter morning my dad has been killed in the war . One year is the war and one year of sleeping in the bunker.
“Where will you go ?” I asked my mum . “I don’t know maybe to the south where I am going to make bullets in a factory.”I am quite scared because what would I do in the country side without a brother or a sister I don’t have any one! sorry I forgot to say my name, my name is Bob. “Mum are you going to be okay”? Yes my dear i am going to be safe.Oh i forgot to introduce my best friend, his name is Sasha. Sasha was talking to his parents.” My dear I will put you a apple If you are going to be hungry okay.” “Okay mum.”

”Every one time to go the train will arrive In 2 minutes said our teacher Miss Sara. Oh I forgot to say I have 3 teachers that were with us in the train journey Miss Sara miss quirke and Miss Clara. Every one liked Miss Clara because she was very kind.”By by my dear” said my mum with tears on her face. The train arrived “every one go into pairs and go into a carriage. “ I went into a carriage with Sasha my mum gave me my suitcase I said goodbye to my mum this was the last word I said to her and then the train started to move. In our carriage there was miss quirke Sasha, Nicholas and Alejandro and many others I was very sad. I was so tired that I fell asleep....When I woke up we were in a train station in Devon. Sasha was sleeping,suddenly miss Quirke shouted “everyone wake up.” “Sasha wake up”, “what happened?” cried Sasha. “We are going out of the train we are in Devon.” “ Ok let’s go” “A bus is going to pick us up.” We went out of the train after us the train did a sound and then it started to move. We were standing in a line again waiting for the bus to arrive. Suddenly we heard a sound and then we saw that there is a bus coming,”everyone go in the bus said Miss Clara. This time I sat in the bus with Nicholas. This time I didn’t fall asleep,I don’t know how much the journey lasted but approximately an hour. Soon we arrived in a dark square. I stood in the line. I was scared. What would happen to me? Leaving my family what a terrrible thing Germans! My life is miserable my brother is as sad as I am but he tries to forget about it and start a new life. I could hear lots of children crying they had a reason to do so. It was a grotty day maybe the weather new it was evacuating day. Every time when I look down at my gas mask and my placard one tear runs down my cheek.On my placard was written Lily Simpson11 come from Pau station. What would happen to my parents? I could hear Miss Sylvie say
"Come on boys and girls a long journey awaits” she said. Everybody rushed to be first. To be in the train first with the music teacher. The teachers sorted the pupils into the right trains. I selteld into my seat it was not as comfy then my bed.

Sitting next to my best friend Eva she is the person that will always be there for me. “Are you alright you look sad ,i’ve heard that your dad has gone to war recently” Eva mumbled.
"Yes he did...but to you want a half of a chocolate chip cookie ”
"Yes please” Eva exclaimed. After I ate. Some bread and ham sandwich . I was sick of waiting till we arrived,so I slept on Eva shoulder. After 2 hours we weren’t there yet I started to see trees we were close. I heard Miss Sylvie say that we will be arriving shortly.

We were walking down the path. It’s so quiet in here. Miss Kelly was holding the torch light. “Come on children I know it’s been a long day ,I know your tired but you will quick find a house or a farm to go to sleep quickly.” So we started walking faster. We arrived it was warmer inside then outside. Finally! We were at the town hall it was big enough to fit all of us. We sat on the benches. I sat next to Eva and Scott. Scott was Eva brother nice chap he is. For supper we had: ham, spaghetti bolognaise and carrot cake. It was delicious. But it was to much for me but Scott finished for me. People were filling the room. It was creepy that one of those people would chose you. There were mostly men. Then, Scott got chosen. Eva was heart broken. Her and her brother were very close. The man even looked at her placard. The half of the room was gone. Then a lady looked closely at me and Eva. “Eva and Lily you come with me. You look sad and tired come with me my dears” she said softly. “My name is Margery Blake” she said. We went with her. Waving goodbye to my brother. He was happy to be with his best friend.

I stood in the line with my sister. I was feeling mad and sad, mad because the Germans were bombing London so I had to leave with my school,and sad because I had to leave my family and some of my friends. We were waiting for a train at an underground train station the Germans hopefully knew nothing of. We were still standing in the line an hour later our head of school was gettin annoyed because the train was more than an hour late! After half an hour it started raining. After a long time I saw Nicholas with his brother and sister he was sitting down on a old and a bit broken bench. I waved at him and motioned for him to come and sit with me I was standing with Chuk talking about the night we were told to evacuate London. About two hours later the I heard the faint whistle of a train engine and heard the smell of smoke, I told everybody what I heard, my sister was jumping up and down waving at the train.After the train stopped and the driver came out our head of school was shouting at the train driver for being so late.

When we got in the train and everyone settled down I asked my teacher if we could eat our lunch, he said we could I told everyone we could eat our lunches.Chuk didn’t want to eat his crisps so I ate them for him. When everyone had eaten. Me, Chuk, and Nicholas played a game of cards, Chuk had brought the same deck of cards he had brought for show and tell the year before. We played a card game called Blackjack we played seven games I won three games. Me, Nicholas, and Chuk were a bit hungry luckily Nicholas had brought three carrots they were very sweet. When it was dark out I fell asleep on my suitcase, after about two hours the teacher woke a few people including me and told us to wake everyone else because we were going to arrive at the stop in half an hour. When everyone had woken up it was three minutes before we arrived. When we arrived it was about half past ten at night.They bought everyone a bottle of water. At the bus station we waited about fifteen minutes before the bus came me and Chuk played one more game of blackjack before the bus came. When the bus finally arrived the headlights were hooded at the top so only a little bit of light came from them when everyone was inside and settled down the bus started its two hour journey, during the two hour journey me, Chuk, and Nicholas decided to get a little more sleep. I woke up about one hour later with a question the question was “ Why do we have war?” I finally fell asleep only to be woken thirty minutes later when we were about to arrive. It was complete and total darkness when we got of the bus all I could make out were some hills suddenly a door opened anda middle aged woman was standing there but then suddenly she started walking towards us...

I stood in the the line. I could smell the smoke from the train. It was humid in the station and I was cold. My suitcase was heavy because I brought a lot of books. I’m with my brother but he was talking with his friends. He’s 2 years older than me but it’s ok because I have my best friend with me. My placard is very heavy . The bag that got my gas mask in is rubbing agenst my neck. I felt very tired and hungry because I didn’t feel like eating I was so nervous. Mum sed that it would be like a little holiday but I knew it wasn’t I knew it was going to be a very long Gerny. My hart herts I can sill here her crying,I love my mum I don’t like taking about my dad he died in the war . I have been wating for a long time about 5 hours the train arrived we got on the train it’s very big I got in a carige and sat next to my best friend. I looked in my bag there was a letter from my mum and a lovely carotte on a stick the letter said
Dear sherly I hope you have a good trip I left you a carotte on a stick I will send you a letter as soon as possible it will be very Nice were you’ll be going the people are nice if you look in your bag there are some treats

I watched the rain drip down the window my best friend lily asked me if I wanted to play norts and crosses I said ok so we play for a long time . When we finally finished I fell asleep... I felt someone shaking me and the familiar voice of miss bubbler saying “come on sherly were here” . She sed we were in exciter when I got of the train it was so busy and we were there about 1hour waiting so I ate my lunch It was yummy we got on a little bus that was late so miss bubbler told the driver off. The lits were very dim when we where going through the village miss bubbler said it was so the Germans didn’t see us we went in a village hall there were people lots of people one couple came towords me....

I stood in the line with my little sister and little brother my brother was crying I was trying to calm him down. My sister and I weren’t sobbing but in our heads we were sad. Mother was working at a bullet factory and my dad was at war. Outside we could hear the Germans bombing the city. In my head I kept on thinking why do we have war and who started the war. I told my brother and sister that World War Two whole end soon. But in my mind I wasn’t sure if I was correct, I just hope that I was right. While I was waiting for the train with my sister and brother I saw Abubakr. While my sister was playing with Abu’s sister me and him were talking. My little brother was sitting on my leg. Few minute later we met Chuk! It was good to see him me Abubakr and Chuk were talking about the war. Chuk sister joined my sister and Abu’s sister they were talking about what will heppand when we got off the train. Two hours later the train arrived at our station.

The train was black and it was making lot of smoke. In the train I was sitting next to Abu and Chuk my little brother was sitting on my leg. My sister was sitting with Zara and Adeze. It was a bumpy ride finally we reached a station on the station we met Sasha Senya and Alejandro the six of us sat at the back Ignacio Alejandro’s little brother was crying. On the train Ms Morton was shouting at Hashem for forgetting his lunch and for insulting Hippolyte. Our head teacher Mr Bearnard was on the other carriage, but we could still hear him shouting at Louis for throwing Romain lunch out of the widow, so Louis had to share his lunch to Romain. On the train me and my friend were playing knots and crosses. When it was 12:00 we ate our lunch I had two drumstick 🍗 some rice 🍚 vegotables and for a treat I got a cookie 🍪 and a chocolate cake 🍰. My friend had some good stuff too. When me and my friend finished we played a game of cards on the first round I won. Each round was always fair, two hours later the train conductor said that we would be arriving at Devon. The last few minute we were talking about the good old times before the war started.

Soon we arrived at Devon. The train stopped we took our lagage and we got of the train Sasha helped me to carry my lagage because I had to carry my little brother since he fell asleep.“It pitch black.”yawned Sasha. Every one of us was tired. We couldn’t make out what was in front of us. While we were waiting for the bus Alejandro was talking to Senya about soccer. But now the war started Our school pitch was bombed last week. 30 minute later the bus arrived Mr Bearnard was scolding the bus driver for being so late soon all of us was inside the bus we were on was heading for the town. On the bus the everybody was asleep by the time we got to the village it was almost midnight. When we got of the bus we were heading for the hall on the hall we sat on some old benches. After we ate dinner a big man wearing a coat and boots behind him was a dog “ I think it was a German Shepard.” I told my friends and my sister and brother.

I stood in the line waiting, watching until the train was here. There were noises all around me making me feel angry and scared. I was asking questions like” Why did the Germans have to start the war and why do we have to suffer?” Right now I am in the the train station. It is very dark and my brother was hungry I gave him my sandwich that I was going to eat on the train ride.

Finally the train arrived at the train station. Me and my brother was so happy that we jumped on the train and sat in the most comfortable seat of the whole train. When the train started moving I could see the rain drizzling on the windows. Me and my brother were playing marbles in the train. After a while we ( me and my brother) fell asleep and when we woke up ( in 2 hours time) we were in complete darkness....!

We were straining our eyes to adjust to the darkness. I could hear my brother shivering with fright and I could feel some red, beady eyes watching every step we took. Just then I saw a blast of light and then someone walking out of it.
The figure looked pale. She had long hair and a friendly smile. Glasses were on her head. She was walking very slowly......!

I stood in the line,it was cold and I could hear everyone crying and it wasn’t helping me to not think about it. The trip seemed to be long and it was. I’ve never fel good since dad died. But why war,why all this, why not just leaving us alone?

"I pour on £1 000 “ I said. And the game began. “WoW!” Said Abu. 2 JACKS!”
"HA! 2 6s!” I said.
"I don’t continue.” Said Abu.

“Paddington station Oliver. Were at Paddington station!!!!!”
It smelled smoke. It was dark. People were passing by.

We went out of the station. It was so dark we needed to do it the blind way. We walked 2 hours and arrived to a bus station. We wated a very very long time. Finally the bus came. “Everyone in!” Cried miss Haynes. “123,124,125,126! There all in, We can go!!!!!”
“WOW DID YOU SEE THAT PLANE!?!” Said chuck, he was fascinated . “THIS FORCE
IS SO POWERFUL!!!!! I BET IT'S A GOLDYOOD!!!!!” when we arrived there was a old man walking towards uswith gun in his hand…

It was a 15 minutes we arrived at a big hall there was lines of chars me and Jeffy then some villagers stood in a line they picked us one by one everyone
was picked except me and Jeffy after 9 hours till a big man with wellies on.

I stood in the line with my two brothers Victor & Jude. We were waiting for the train. It was hard saying goodbye to my mum because I never left her for so long. We had to carry our gasmasks,and placards. All we could bring was a small suitcase with clothes in. I hadn’t had breakfast so my mum gave me a butter sandwich. I felt tired and I had a headache because of all the sounds around me. In the station it was crowded with children. There were teachers shouting from all directions. I was asking myself so many questions like, when is the train going to arrive? How long will the journey be ?when will we go back home? When will the war end? Will it ever end? What is mum going to do? When I got on the train I felt scared, it was raining so it made the train ride sader. In the train I was sitting next to my friends.The train ride was really long I got bord quickly so I started playing a game of Rock Paper Scissors. Then I fel asleep, for quite a long time. When I woke up it was lunchtime at last I was really hungry. For lunch I had a ham, cheese,cucumber sandwich and a cookie. After lunch I was tracing rain drops down the window,it was a race between the drop on the left of the window and a drop next to it, the drop next to the window won. After that I played it a few times then I fel asleep slowly. When I woke up the train stoped and I was confused but then the teachers told us to get of the train, once we were of the train we could not see anything because it was the night we had to wait for a bit but then there was a bus. It was quite big. When we were on the bus we could’t see anything so me Tess, Danielle, Eloïse, and Ines played a game. When we finished we got of the bus and all we could see was a man in wellyboots and a big cote. All we could see was a man walking closer and closer I was scared....

So, I’m standing in the line , waiting next to Iyanu for the train . Whenever I look at mum , she’s crying . She had packed a little jam sandwich but I’m gonna save it . After all , it was a looooonnnnnngggggg way ( by train ) from London to the country-side . I could smell the smoke from the other trains . The gasmask box was pulling on my neck , so I put it on my shoulder , but that didn’t help any thing . “ When is the train gonna get here? ” said Iyanu leaning on my shoulder .

A few hours later

Oh finally !!😃the train is here ! We’ve been waiting for 6 hours . But this wasn’t even the full journey! Plus , the train is on strike ! We were going to get there at 6pm , but now, we’re going to get there at 8pm. Me and Iyanu we’re playing noughts and crosses (x and o / tic tac toe ) on the window . First she won , then me , then me again , then her . I fell asleep the rest of the trip to get over the fact I was almost crying 😢.

The next day I got a letter from mom .

Me , out of the bus , it’s pitch black. Wait , what’s that ! There’s a shadow , it’s coming towards us ! I hid behind Iyanu then she hid behind me , then I hid behind her , until our backs hit the bus . I think the man stoped walking now , and we could see him a little clearer . He was tall , he had a brownish - greyish short beard , messy hair , a woolly coat , and a furry/fluffy guard or sheep dog , it was black with white patches . The worst (but only ) thing that I saw is that he was walking towards us .....

I am standing in the line listening to the noise around me. Every time I look at my mum, I see tears in her eyes. I feel sorry for her. Our father is dead. I'm really angry because I don't know how they killed him.I'm sad that I'm leaving my mum. She has been so nice to me since dad died. Our train just arrived. Our teacher was shouting that we shouldn't leave our luggage. On the train we wore our placards.

As we started the journey it began to rain. It was so cold, I fell asleep. As we arrived I felt a tap on my shoulder. " Let's play a game Chloe,"said our James, " Let's play I spy." I was tired. Was James crazy? Didn't he know I was tired? I was still able to sit up. The train said we just past the next station. Phew, that means we were not far from our destination. We played and played and played. Sometimes I paused to talk to my friend Zerelda. " Are you alright? Someone told me you were sleeping. "Yeah, I'm alright." Suddenly, the train stopped. "Everyone of the train!" said our teacher. As I got of the train, loud noises surrounded me. I held on to my friend, Zerelda. We sat on a platform, waiting for the bus. We got a delicious meal as we sat.
When the bus arrived, and we entered, It was dark. It was still raining, so we had to enter in quickly. This time I sat with Zerelda. I still cold, so, I snuggled up and slept off. Zerelda slept off too.
Suddenly I felt a jag and I woke up. We wre at our destination. It was so dark I couldn't see a thing. I woke up Zerelda. She yawned very loudly and sat up. "What's the matter?" she asked in a sleepy voice.
"We're there," I answered, "come on, get up, it's time to go." Ourteacher Knocked on the door. The door creaked open. Bright light filled the darkness. From somewhere I smelled tomato soup. Then, I noticed we were at the village hall. As we entered red eyes were staring. We sat on benches, and were served tomato soup, cheese rolls, and hot cocoa.
