As we know that people have different opinions about the impact of international tourism. Some of them agree that international tourism gives positive impacts, but some of them agree that international tourism gives negative impacts. In my opinion, so far international tourism has an important role to expose the place is in each place. Then, international tourism gives positive impacts. The first positive impact is personal views, it can give time for relaxing and having fun when visiting a new place. The second positive impact is to learn something new, for example, people can learn about culture, language, etc. The third positive impact is it will increase the economic sector in local areas. People may rely on tourism for their income, for example, restaurants, hotels, etc. 
Besides, international tourism has a negative impact, it is pollution. Exactly air pollution, because there are many transportations that they use. Then, lack of awareness to keep the environment, we can find some people throwing rubbish everywhere.

In conclusion, international tourism can give benefit the personal and economic sectors. However, tourists and local people should increase their awareness of the environment.

International tourism brings good and bad impacts on tourism in Indonesia. However, in my opinion, the good effects given by international tourism outweigh the terrible consequences.

The first good impact is international tourism can improve the Indonesian economy because it is a source of foreign exchange for the country (Lumaksono et al., 2012). In addition, citizens around tourist destination can also manage and increase ticket and food prices to adjust to the dollar exchange rate. There is also international tourism, which often builds companies in Indonesia, such as bars and restaurants near a tourist destination, so that it can indirectly create jobs for citizens. The last good impact is that international tourism, which has come to Indonesian tourism, can indirectly promote Indonesian tourism to their relatives and friends on social media so that international tourism will increase who will visit Indonesian tourism.

Besides the good impact above, there are harmful impacts of the arrival of international tourism. Such as several times, there has been news that international tourism takes the property of others, such as stealing money or goods. Reported (Liputan6dotcom, 2019) that a global tourism family is stealing in Bali.

Based on the bad and good impacts of international tourism on tourism in Indonesia, there are more good impacts than bad impacts on the economy in Indonesia. As an Indonesian citizen with a very productive tourism sector from Sabang to Merauke, we need international tourism and citizens to advance tourism and maintain tourist places.

International tourism has both positive and negative effects on Indonesian tourism. However, I believe that the positive advantages of foreign tourism outweigh the negative effects. The first advantage is the local people will have a lot of jobs. The tourism business covers a wide range of tourist destinations, allowing the majority of a country's people to work. Hotels, car rental agencies, restaurants, tour businesses, souvenir stores, and equipment shops are among the areas where people work. Another some advantages that occur from international tourism are the economic country will be increase, the country will be famous, increasing income the local people and that foreign tourism contributes to area GDP. Some things from the local community that are marketed in the tourist area are in high demand by international visitors and are then utilized as mementos. This improves the area's reputation.

Beside the current state of the tourism sector, the problems of tourism may far outweigh the benefits of a country. The first factor to examine is the impact on the environment. The number of people occupying a location grows dramatically when a country has a strong tourist attractiveness. As a result, carbon monoxide emissions from planes and cars may rise, negatively impacting the country's ecology. With high foot traffic and human contact, many countries with old remains or natural attractions face loss or degradation. Furthermore, when there is an overabundance of humans, flora and fauna can decline in certain locations or change their growth and migration patterns. Foot traffic and constant touching can also cause old structures to deteriorate over time.

We can conclude from this reasoning that the benefits of international tourism outweigh the negatives. However, as tourists, we must be conscious of the destination's ecology.

On the one hand, international tourism has many advantages. First, from an economic perspective, tourism can bring in money because people from all over the world travel to different countries. The revenue generated can constitute a significant share of private, local, and national revenues. Also, tourism creates a lot of jobs for local people. They can make money from selling souvenirs, foods, drinks, and tourism services. Second, from a cultural perspective, tourism can strengthen and exchange culture. The interaction between tourists and local communities is an added value for tourism. For local people, it can build confidence in the culture favored by tourists. It depends on how local people interact and introduce their culture. Being cross-cultural can promote international connections which can lead to more business and cultural collaboration in the long term. Then from an environmental perspective, the environment is the first thing that tourists see. Therefore, with international tourism, local people try to protect their country and change lifestyles that can damage the environment, such as maintaining environmental cleanliness, maintaining clean water quality, and learning about the culture and traditions of their country.

On the other hand, international tourism has more disadvantages than advantages. From an economic perspective, tourism can cause economic instability. Indeed, tourism can generate a lot of income but for tourists and local people, it has consequences for paying higher prices for services, food, drinks, and lodging. Also, people cannot fully depend on tourism because of fluctuating tourism conditions depending on economic factors, safety, and comfort factors. Work in tourism also includes seasonal work, for example, a tour guide can work if there are tourists. From a cultural perspective, tourism can cause changes and cultural clashes in society. Tourists often lack respect for local traditions and culture, refuse to follow local dress standards, get drunk in public, or behave rudely or inappropriately towards residents. It is important to respect local customs and traditions because other people will not always respect our culture. Also, these changes depend on the community, there are those who want to go towards modernization by following the culture of incoming tourists. Usually, changes can happen without people realizing it. From an environmental perspective, tourism can cause environmental damage. Tourists will often cause damage during their visit as littering can cause erosion, pollution, forest fires, and loss of natural habitat.

In conclusion, I think the potential harm of international tourism to the environment and culture outweighs the possible economic benefits. The government should enact laws to protect the environment and local culture.

Therefore, some people think that international tourists bring a lot of benefits and positive impacts for local residents. Such as helping the economy of local residents by visiting tourist attractions, thus helping some people who do not have jobs so that they have jobs, helping the economy of the community around tourist attractions, capturing some moments that will be shown to their family or friends so that other people can visit these tourist attractions, access towards an increasingly updated tourist spot. As for some of the negative impacts that can be caused by some tourists such as littering, not obeying the regulations in force at the tourist site, causing excessive pollution (water, air, sound and soil) increasing excessive infrastructure which causes the need to reduce flora and fauna habitats that can be harmful to tourists. cause fatal damage.

In conclusion, international tourists make many benefits for tourist attractions, but international tourists and local tourists must be aware of and maintain tourist attractions so that tourist attractions can continue to be enjoyed by our children and grandchildren in the future. Because taking care of tourist attractions is an awareness that exists within ourselves. 

The tourism sector plays an important role in the economy, both as a source of foreign exchange earnings as well as job creation and business opportunities. Tourism is part of the industrial sector with good prospects because it has enormous potential to be developed. This tourism is also one of the sectors that provide the largest contribution to the country's foreign exchange earnings through foreign tourists.

This tourism activity is related to a very complex social phenomenon from within a person concerning aspects of his life such as: sociological, psychological, economic, ecological and so on. Among the above aspects, one aspect that greatly influences tourism activities and is very important is the economic aspect. Because even though there is a desire or urge to travel, if it is not supported by the economic aspect, the desire will not be realized. The number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia is influenced by the country of origin of the tourists and the tourism prices of competing countries. Likewise with their spending while in Indonesia so that the amount of foreign exchange entering Indonesia will increase when the country of origin of tourists and or the price of tourism in competing countries increases. This is an advantage of international tourism even though the price of Indonesian tourism in the eyes of foreign tourists has a negative effect on the number of visits and expenditures.

International tourism has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. Various social restrictions have made the level of tourist visits decrease drastically. Globally, there has been a decline in foreign tourist arrivals in various countries by up to 700 million people. Based on the news I read, the global tourism sector suffered a loss of USD 730 billion, said Indef's Senior Economist, Faisal Basri in the Economic Outlook of KAHMI Preneur. In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic has brought international air travel to a near halt for the past 2 years. That's because many countries refuse to allow non-essential travel. Losses in the tourism sector as a result of this are estimated at US$2.4 trillion.

Then, do the disadvantages of international tourism outweigh the advantages?

Thus, in my opinion the conclusion is that international tourism has its own advantages and disadvantages. However, for now tourism is experiencing more losses than gains after the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, not only because of these problems, but also tourist problems which sometimes have a bad impact on the tourist environment. To overcome this problems, the SDGs can help guide the tourism industry to make more sustainable choices. For example, a strategy by hotels, cruise ships and restaurants to buy as much fresh produce as possible from local farmers would shorten the supply chain and save the cost or environmental risk required to carry existing food. This will also enhance local economic development.

 

In my opinion, with international tourism, the benefits are greater than the losses. The first advantage, state finances will be helped by the arrival of many tourists from various countries. Expenses issued by foreign tourists will be a source of income for the country. Furthermore, local residents will be helped by international tourism, where local residents can work so as to reduce unemployment. work that can be done by local residents such as, selling food or souvenirs and others. In addition to the economic sector, international tourism also provides benefits to the cultural sector, where indigenous local cultures will be introduced to foreign tourists who visit. this can also be a special attraction for tourists.

 

In addition to profits, tourism also provides disadvantages. some of the losses due to international tourism such as environmental pollution resulting from the behavior of tourists who do not comply with applicable regulations. In addition, the arrival of foreign tourists to a country can cause cultural clashes. namely the culture brought by foreign tourists with the original culture of the country visited. Cultural clashes, if not handled properly, will have a negative impact on culture

Based on the description of the advantages and disadvantages of international tourism above, it can be concluded that, the benefits generated from international tourism are greater than the disadvantages. Although these losses cannot be avoided, they can be reduced or minimized by finding joint solutions.

In my opinion, International tourism has provided many valuable benefits to a country compared to the disadvantages. The advantage of international tourism is that it can increase the economy and income of the country with many tourists from abroad who come to visit it. The large number of visitors on tours makes the surrounding environment have additional income by selling food, and souvenirs, etc. Then, local residents can also get work because there are more jobs. In addition, tourism opens up many business opportunities and income such as hotels, villas, restaurants, transportation and others. Apart from economics, there is also a culture that is known by many people from various countries. Then, international tourism of course makes these tours more famous by many foreign tourists, such as when there are tourists who visit these tours and then tell their experiences either orally directly, through videos such as vlogs, or online writings such as blogs, thus making other people are interested and can increase the number of tourists on the tour.

 

Then we must know that every benefit must have its risks. Like when there is international tourism which opens up many advantage but also creates disadvantage. Among them, in the environment, many tourists will definitely have a lot of pollution caused such as garbage, then the possibility of damage to the surrounding environment as well as if on natural tourism can cause damage to their habitat. Then tourism, which has more and more visitors, creates a lot of new buildings, which creates a lot of new land clearing and increasing population density. In addition, the number of foreign tourists can affect the culture of the local population. Some tourists do not follow the existing rules on the tours they visit, they do not respect the existing rules and culture. Then the mixing of many cultures by tourists from outside makes the local people's culture fade and they can be influenced and follow outside cultures without first filtering which ones are good and which are bad.

So in conclusion, every advantage must have a risk. However, in international tourism, there are more benefits to be gained and the disadvantage can be overcome or anticipated.

So, in my opinion about this situation is disadvantages outweigh the advantages, but maybe we can improve it slowly by educating the visitors about the things they need to pay attention to when visiting a tourist destination.  I hope using this method people can be more aware of their environment and our countries can be more advanced.
