It provides a great opportunity towards restoring the country's cultural heritage damaged in conflicts dating back almost four decades to the war.
The museum has four main galleries, the first one was devoted to the Basra region, opened in 2016 thanks to a generous donation from the BP Foundation and other corporate and private contributions.
