         <description><![CDATA[<div>-African american styles are still common to this day. some may think it all began during this century but the styles are all history. in the 1950's&nbsp; revolts against colonialism in Africa and the stirrings of a new cultural politics in America inspired alternatives to straightening techniques. many people were inspired by all the different style techniques so many people began to look toward the styles.</div>]]></description>
