Technology tools enhance learning and retention by making education more engaging, accessible and effective. </p></li><li><p>The teacher shown in the video was proactive and smart. She used the blended method of teaching where she has made the effective use of technology along with her own demonstration. She was vigilant and made the students use  the gadgets appropriately. </p></li><li><p>As a chemistry teacher I would show my students real objects and would make them do the experiment to get hand on experience for life long learning along with the use of technology. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>1) Technology tools allow learning to move beyond the textbook by making lessons interactive, visual, and engaging. For example, simulations and videos help students visualize abstract concepts, while platforms like Padlet or Google Classroom promote collaboration, discussion, and instant feedback. Digital platforms also make it possible for quieter students to contribute confidently, as they can post reflections or questions online even if they hesitate to speak in class.</p><p><br/></p><p>2) The teacher used the strategies quite well. She blended direct instruction via projector with active learning through students using devices. The use of quizzes/polls allowed quick checks for understanding, and Edmodo was used to extend learning beyond class (sharing resources/discussions). Students appeared involved and able to interact instead of just being passive listeners. One strength was immediate feedback; a possible weakness was: perhaps not enough opportunity for students to choose <em>how</em> they engage or present their understanding.</p><p><br/></p><p>3) To promote learner agency, I would give students more choice in how they use technology to explore concepts. For example, in Physics, instead of everyone solving the same online quiz, students could design a short simulation on motion, create a digital mind map of Newton’s laws, or post an explanation video or create a ppt. This way, they take ownership of their learning, express understanding in different ways, and learn from each other’s creativity.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>M.Yasir</p><p>I find the video very interesting. Using tools like Socrative lets students answer quiz questions during class. </p><p>1 The teacher sees instantly who understood and who didn’t. Then she can explain again where many students made mistakes. this type of tech can let students discuss topics outside of class time, ask questions, share resources, or upload assignments. Students who are shy in class can participate through tech.</p><p>2 It seems the teacher used a mix of <strong>interactive tech-based quizzes</strong>  and <strong>online discussions or resource sharing</strong>. This helps in checking understanding and giving feedback quickly. If many students got a question wrong in Socrative, she paused to explain again. This is good because it's responsive to students’ needs. </p><p>3 I would give students choice in how they respond to a topic for example, choose between writing a short blog post, doing a mind map, or making a video in which they are explaining something. This gives them ownership. Use peer-review so students can comment on each other’s assignments, give feedback. This builds responsibility and engagement. After a quiz, not just correcting mistakes, but ask students: <em>“What helped you understand this? What confused you? How can I help you better?”</em>  So this way student also think about what they learned and what they still find difficult.</p>]]></description>

It provides students with visual and audio support, keeps their attention focused, and offers opportunities for individualized learning. </p><p><strong>2. </strong>The teacher used the strategies effectively. By integrating videos and interactive content, the lesson became engaging. Students were involved through questioning, and the strategies supported different learning styles.</p><p><strong>3.</strong>I would give students more independence by letting them create their own activities using technology, such as making presentations or short quizzes. I would also provide opportunities for group discussions and peer feedback so they could share their opinions. However, giving students more options to express their understanding could have further strengthened learner agency.</p><p><br/></p><p>3) I would give students choice in solving problems—using <strong>GeoGebra to explore graphs, Mathpad for Geometrical constructions, Padlet to share solutions, or Kahoot for quick checks</strong>. I would also let groups present their understanding in different formats (digital slides, posters, or oral explanation). This promotes learner agency and improves outcomes through voice, choice, and collaboration.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

Student progress can be <strong>continuously tracked </strong>and monitored, rather than waiting until exams to compile results. This allows for <strong>timely and appropriate interventions </strong>to support student growth. Moreover, technology simplifies the process of <strong>sharing resources </strong>anytime and anywhere, while also providing access to a wider range of content</p><p><br></p><p>The teacher, Miss Tavia Wright, used visual aids to reinforce the lesson, which saved time and made the class more engaging. She also incorporated apps such as Socrative and Edmodo to conduct group and paired activities, allowing her to receive instant feedback from students. Furthermore, she shared resources, such as charts, on the platform, making it easier to connect with and support her students. Hence, she used the <strong>Collaborative/Cooperative Learning Strategy </strong>effectively to enhance student learning</p><p><br></p><p>She performed well by applying learner-centered strategies, including group and paired activities, which suited her Grade 3 English class. In my case, teaching Mathematics to O Level students, I would apply a <strong>technology-enhanced visual learning strategy </strong>by using the <strong>GeoGebra </strong>app to visualize angle and circle properties, making the concepts more intuitive and easier to understand.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Digital platforms further personalize education by adapting to each learner’s pace, offering extra support where needed and advanced challenges for quicker learners. At the same time, technology cultivates essential 21st-century skills—including digital fluency, problem-solving, and critical thinking—preparing students to thrive in a modern, technology-driven world.</p><p>After observing Teacher Travia Wright’s lesson, it was clear that her use of the Socratic method, supported by visual aids, digital tools, and instant feedback, created an interactive and accessible learning environment</p><p>If I were teaching O Level students about DC circuits, I would use a <strong>demonstration strategy</strong> by first showing the circuit with real components or a simulator, then posing inquiry questions to spark predictions. I would follow this with hands-on experiments supported by simulation tools for feedback, and conclude with group tasks to encourage collaboration and deeper understanding.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Incorporating technology tools is an essential need of the time. This doesn't only engage the students attention but also gives them a broad spectrum of understanding and quick concept development. </p><p>Since the teacher is dealing with young students at elementary level she engaged students in active search by incorporating technology tools by giving them clear prompt instructions. One on one discussion provided a timely feedback of each student rather assessing them in assessments.</p><p>Specially dealing with young students who can easily loose interest in their lesson. They can be engaged actively for longer period by offering them quiz, story telling, mind maps, search topic through chrome books and word wall. Google classroom records active participation of students through asynchronous and reinforcement task which is time saving and builds the confidence of the students to share their work with other classmates.</p>]]></description>

Using technology in lessons makes learning creative, engaging, and effective.</p><p><strong>Teacher Strategies:</strong><br>The teacher Tavia Wright used teaching strategies very effectively. She included digital tools like iPads, Edmodo, and Socrative to make learning fun and interesting. She helped students work together, think carefully, and be creative. She also gave extra support to students who needed it, making learning easy and enjoyable for everyone.</p><p><strong>Promoting Learner Agency:</strong><br>To improve learner agency, I would let students have more choices in projects and activities. I would encourage them to set their own learning goals and decide how to show their learning. Giving more opportunities to share ideas and explore topics they are curious about helps students take responsibility for their learning and become more confident and motivated.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Technology helps in making complex ideas simpler for students which helps them in understanding the concepts easily. </p><p>1. Technology tools such as smartboards, projector, the learning apps like kahoot, quizzez, google classroompadlet, canva etc can making more interesting and engaging for young learners because its easier to grasp their attention and it also caters the different learning needs of the students. This also helps the students to learn at there own pace without any pressure and if practice required they can repeat the process again. It also helps the learning hands-on like students doing quick quizzes and playing educational games. </p><p>2. I feel the class was teacher and student-centered both. The teacher first explained the lesson and then moved on to use technology to practice what they have learned with the class. The teacher also stopped in between to ask questions and check whether the students have understood the topic or not. This way the teacher was going step by step ensuring that are the students with the teacher which is very helpful in teaching young children. Using different resources like visuals, games etc. it really helps the learners enjoy the lesson and keep them engaged. </p><p>3. I would have given my students voice and choice, like they whatever they wanted to pick up (draw, write or tell verbally). They would have shared their work with their peers so peer learning would also have taken place. After using technology, I would have asked quick questions to check their understanding of the topic. </p>]]></description>
