McDonalds would earn the thesis point because McDonalds is the most basic burger one can get. It's world renowned for being the most stereotypical American food place, and in regards to burgers, it hits the point right on the head. Essay's in this category make a defensible, exact, thesis, and McDonald's has been defending itself as the most iconic burger place for decades.

A Chick-Fil-A's chicken sandwich is very good. However, it does not fulfill the requirements of being a burger. Similarly, a thesis can have the most complex language and ideas in the world, but if it does not respond to the prompt it loses the point.

A burger made of wagyu beef is a very elegant and complex burger that is found in many high end restaurants throughout the world. This would earn the sophistication point because it is a very artistic and refined burger, similarly to the required writing necessary to earn this point.

In regards to burgers, In N Out has got it completely figured out. They have been able to devise a burger that not only is juicy, but also includes all of a burgers necessary requirements to be great, balanced, and tasty (Lettuce, tomato, slice of cheese, etc.). The meat itself is fresh, not frozen, providing the best taste every time, without any concern that your food will be freezer burnt. Essay's in this category show consistency, and have sufficient evidence supporting their points, all qualities that these burgers hold.

White Castle sells incredibly simple slider type burgers with little on them. They are not necessarily bad, but are just unsophisticated; this is why the White castle burger would not get the sophistication point due to it's simplicity. The sophistication point is not earned if respondents oversimplify complex themes in the text.

Burger King is comparable to what certain places, like In N Out, would be if they didn't care about quality AT ALL. They have all the basic requirements to be a burger, but the taste, and freshness are not there (Their burgers are frozen, and you can almost guarantee that their vegetables aren't fresh either). Just like how essays in this category have the basic requirements to be an argumentative essay, but don't expand effectively at all.

A Wendy's burger in my opinion is in the mid tier of burgers, in that it still is good, but not something that you might go out of the way for. A two on the evidence section mean you have relevant evidence, but it is not specific enough to score higher. A Wendy's burger would earn a 2 because it has some qualities, but is lacking that specificity to bring it to the top.

Although most commonly known for their milkshakes, when it comes to food, you can only expect the upmost quality from this restaurant. Their burgers are, by far, no exception to this, including the highest end ingredients, but, in the end, aren't at the level of some other burgers. Essay's in this category have sufficient evidence to support their claim, but are sometimes missing effective point connection.
