The writer starts off with a sarcastic tone to state his point. He then contradicts the previous statement by hinting consequences that if there were a change in paying health funds, such an example would include insufficient hospital beds for patients to rest on. The writer uses inclusive language and a Rhetorical question to make the reader reflect on their decisions. The consequence of having cuts to the health care appeals to the reader’s fear of being neglected. The Readers would want safety for themselves and their loved ones, so therefor wouldn't support the idea of cuts to the health care.
