I think WWII is cruel, wars often sacrifice a lot of people and involve destruction of different things. Also, technologies were used during WWII like the nuclear bombs. I think even though the nuclear bombs can shorten the war and make Japan surrender, it is still cruel as lots of people suffered from the bombs, the deaths, injuries, trauma and aftermath and the nuclear causes years of suffering and long term diseases to the survivors.

The Treaty of Versailles and the Great Depression made Germans felt angry, had a thought of resentment. A rise of totalitarianism happened in Germany, Italy and Japan sought expansion, while the League of Nations failed to stop the aggression. It ended by the atomic bombings in 1945 which the US bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japan surrendered in 1945 August. It caused millions people died and the cities were destroyed.

2 major reasons of the cause of WW2 was the treaty of Versailles and the great depression. Germany, who faced many repercussions under the above events, played quite role in the war.

the causes and background of Germany during WW2 sometimes seems a bit twisted to me. Nazism is a familiar word when talking about the topic of WW2, and many of the features of it was to build a stronger Germany, however the ideas were all too extreme, many of which involving violence and force.

And this Nazi holocaust is only one of many other dark events during the war, with many many more barbarous battles throughout.

So a quicker way describe WW2 : A series of unfortunate events, including many fatal events, contributing to the deaths of many.

United nation was also formed

World War Two is also as known as the most brutal and deadly conflict in human history, marked by around 85 million casualties and involving more than 30 countries.

Although World War 2 caused many causalities and the loss of homeland to many people and families, it also gave us many new technologies that we use today such as radar, rockets, etc.

I think that the Treaty of Versailles, the Great Depression, and the rise of totalitarianism between countries of Germany, Japan, and Italy,

As the people of Germany were discontent about the harsh terms of the Treaty of Versailles, and the collapsed economy at that time, they decided to seek for new leader which was Hitler, and promoted Nazism, which is a form of totalitarianism. Also at the same time, the promotion of the Continental Policy of Japan, where Japan wanted to take over China for resources due to the collapsed economy after the Great Depression.

In conclusion, I think WWII was the deadliest war in history, where factors such as the Treaty of Versailles, the Great Depression, and the rise of totalitarianism sparked WWII based on the violent acts between different countries.

I also remember reading about Anne Frank which talked about her days during WW2. She couldn’t do anything but hide just to protect herself from the Germans. It shows that there were a lot of people who were suffering because of the war. Therefore, I think that WW2 was one of the most tragic events that happened in the 20th century.

For example, during WW2, Britain was being regularly bombed by Germany. Many people lost their homes, family members or lives. Many children were evacuated. Although this protected their lives, they were split up from their parents, and even siblings. 

Other than what was happening in Britain, many Jews in German-occupied countries were sent to suffer and die in concentration camps, leading to 6 million Jews dying.

Therefore, WW2 was a time of uncertainty and fear.

Totalitarianism take different forms, such as Fascism in Italy, Nazism in Germany and militarism in Japan. All these were responsible for causing the outbreak of World War 2.

The Nazis did terrible stuff during World War 2, like the Holocaust. They killed millions of Jews and were so cruel. They planned to exterminate all Jewish. Some concentration camps were turned into extermination camps, in which Jewish would be killed in gas chamber systematically.

World War 2 changed the way of politics, the economy, and society all over the world and set the rules for how countries dealt with each other for the rest of the 20th century and into the 21st century.

We should always remember what happened in World War 2 and work hard to keep the peace.

It was a brutal and fatal historical event that killed many and injured even more , we learned about it in Chinese history and world history , it makes me think of the refuges and victims that were sadly unalived in the brutal war,I remembers when they talked about the one use jets which killed many, my feeling about the war are negative and will always be negative ,end of story

although World War One did not cause World War Two directly,the treaty of Versailles, which was signed in Paris peace conference in 1919 caused the rise of totalitarianism.the outbreak of World War Two is because of the aggressors like Germany(nazism),Italy(francism)and Japan(militarism),started invading or annexing different countries.the idea of totalitarianism is ambitious. The führer of nazi germany, Adolf hitler decided to invade Poland in 1st September in 1939.it causes war between two countries.plus,the alliance system worsen the situation and many countries decided to join their alliances.

World war2 is not just only a historical event,but also teaching us communication between people and how to be a better personThere is no doubt about it,violation and wars could not solve arguments and it makes it even worse.therefore,war taught us negotiation is always the best way to solve the also,ambition and desire are limitless.like nazi germany, even Britain and France (those peace keepers )tried to avoid conflict by using appeasement policy,Germany still kept invading and raising their army and military power.this shows that desire and ambition cannot be stopped and the only way to stop is Germany gave up on invading other countries and nations.in other words,if Germany gave up these ambitions, world war 2 would not happened.from these we learnt that peace is always the best way to avoid conflicts and keep a peaceful relationship among people.not just this, but people also have to supress their desire and try to step in others shoes.

World War Two is a tragedy in history and it always reminds us not to make this mistake happen again in the future.no matter between different nations,society or parties.we should try our best to maintain a peaceful relationship.

In my opinion, it is a caused by the the Treaty of Versailles and Great Depression. For example, the Treaty of Versailles. It punished Germany harshly, such as forcing Germany to cede land to neighbouring countries, give up all colonies, reduce its armaments, pay 6.6 billion pounds of war reparation and bearing the sole responsibility of causing the ww1. The is also the Great Depression at that time, US cut off loans that it was providing to Germany and urged Britain and France to repay their wartime debts. France and Britain urged Germany to pay back the war reparation, making Germany suffer from economic hardship. This made the Germans discontent with the government at that time, but the Nazi Party at that time promised to overthrow the Treaty of Versailles and recover the prosperity of Germany, making a lot of people support Nazism. In Nazism, invading other countries is highly encouraged. Britain and France adopted the appeasement policy, which didn’t stop Germany’s invasion of other countries but also increased Germany’s ambitions. Therefore, Germany’s invasion of Poland caused the outbreak of ww2.

I think all countries were responsible for causing the ww2. If Germany hadn’t been so hostile and invaded Poland, ww2 will not have broken out. On the other hand, if Britain and France hadn’t had the appeasement policy, they could have stopped Germany from its invasion of Poland. If other Serbia and Austria-Hungary had not had the Sarajevo Assassination and started the ww1, ww1 wouldn’t had happened and the Treaty of Versailles would never have appeared.

In conclusion, ww2 bought negative consequences to all countries, damage of property, deaths and injuries of innocent citizens, exacerbation of the nation's relationships and economic losses in the coming years. 

No countries actually won the ww2 — they just survived until the end.

 One event that happened in WW2 is the Rise of Nazism. In the Paris Peace Settlements, the allies imposed a very harsh treaty called the Treaty of Versailles which included very harsh terms to punish Germany for causing the First World War that angered the Germans. In the Great Depression, the US stopped providing loans to Germany and stopped supporting them. Britain and France also urged Germany to repay the heavy war reparation which made the economy of Germany collapse with roughly around 6 million Germans unemployed. Because of the economy, the Germans longed for a strong leader, Adolf Hitler who promised to improve the economy of Germany. He later became the chancellor then the Fuhrer. He hated Jewish which led to lots of disagreements and conflicts between nations which then led to the Second World War.

It was firstly based on the idea of racism, where races are divided to three parts, white, black and yellow. They believed the world was defined by the struggles among races, they embraced the false thought of separating Jews and claiming them as inferior while Aryan was considered as 'master race'. Like all racism ideology, it includes prejudice and discrimination against Jews.

The measures Nazi Party adapted were intended to scatter Jews and torture them because of convincing themselves that Jews should be the blame for their defeat of ww1 and held sole responsibility. The Anti-Semitism policy was roughly against Jews, they boycotted all Jewish businesses and demanded them to wear the Star of David to identify themselves. They have restrictions in a daily basis and were forcefully sent to concentration and extermination camps, they would be executed in gas chambers unsympathetically.

-before the WWI, Germany as a new formed country that time showed its aggressiveness among the European countries, which angered the other European countries(eg. Britain, France, Russia). However, it also got allies countries(Italy, Austria Hungary). With a lot of factors leading to the WWI (eg. Alliances system, colonial powers, extreme nationalism, armament race), pre-war crises(eg. Balkan wars etc.) and an immediate cause (Sarajevo Assassination). A European region war build up to a world war with the alliances system.  The entente power( France, Russia , Britain) defeated the central power ( Germany, Bulgaria etc.).

-The Treaty of Versailles was made to punish the defeated countries, and Germany got the largest punishment from the entente power through economic, social and military aspects. The Paris Peace Settlement angered the Germans. Hitler, as a German, he abolished the Treaty of Versailles and hoped to resolve the poor economic of Germany, which leads to the rise of Nazism and Totalitarianism.

-Nazism tried to fight back the entente power, since Germany was defeated by the entente power and caused the WWII.

Therefore,  WWII is also a revenge of Germany(Nazism)

2.Not only the entente power was targeted by the Nazism, but also the Jewish.

-Hitler believed Jewish was the most inferior race among all, since he believed that Jewish was the main cause leading to the defeat of Germany, and he abolish the rights of the Jewish.

Eg. Anne Frank, she is a teenager Jewish . She should enjoy rights of a teenager and the happiness that should be have in that age, but since she is a Jewish, she had to hide in a house for one year and even died in the concentration camp, which is set up by the Nazi Party to punish the Jews.

3.Germans were lost to their freedom too

-Hitler set up laws to the Germans, and they could not enjoy freedom of speech, media etc. Every action they did is under the Nazi’s control, even what they learned was filtered by the Nazi Party first. So they would not know what was happening in the reality that time.

Eg. Indoctrination-all learning materials for schools should pass the auditing of the Nazi Party first and for the learning material which would damage Nazi’s reputation would be banned, the reporter/writer would get punished.
