After learning Geometer’s Sketchpad, I have gained a deeper understanding of geometry and its visual representation. The software allows me to construct geometric figures easily and explore mathematical concepts interactively. I find it especially useful for understanding the properties of shapes, transformations, and measurements.

Learning GPS is quite useful in teaching mathematics. Compare with scratch, GPS is more useful as it can be use to counting length, angle and draw shapes. It is easier to be use compare with Scratch that i learned before.

This software is kinda new to me and easy (so far i guess? 😅) compare to other software i had used. However i really hope we could have more time to explore this software more. I was kinda excited when i saw the patterns of the flower tho. I wanna do it but that's okay :( thank you to the lecturers for planning this workshop. I have enjoyed GSP Sketchpad Workshop that have been conducted recently. Through the workshop we have the opportunity to learn process by process on how to create an animated line and many more discovery that could be applied for the digital project. It was really fascinating. Mr. Manalan was also very insightful and clear when he explains the steps that make the learning process easier.

Despite its complicated programme, GeoGebra has a relatively user-friendly interface. Even students with minimal technical knowledge can quickly learn how to use the program and create meaningful constructions and models.

As a future math teacher, the GSP workshop was really helpful. I learned some basic skills to create patterns using simple lines. It was cool to see how repeating a lines or changing its position can form interesting designs. I can use these ideas in my assignments.

I’m so grateful with the opportunity to learn about the Geometer Sketchpad (GSP) software. The features helps me to understand how to visualise the geometric concept better and it’s fascinating to see the gradual process we went from merely two points to an actual graph, adding with some motions.
