The 2nd Amendment gives the citizen of the U.S. a right to bear arms. This amendment is one of the most important in the Bill of Rights because it gives people the necessary protection they need to fend off any intruders that might trespass into their property and use the arms for legal self-defense.

The 4th Amendment gives the citizen of the U.S. the freedom of unreasonable search and seizures. This protects the citizen of unlawful and random searches on any human being unless authority has a just reason to do so. The 4th Amendment also states that government must have a a search warrant on a probable cause which is a follow-up of the first part of the Amendment. Authorities must be issued a search warrant before they could search any individual with only a few exceptions.

The article covered an event that happened in Texas. 74 year old Rebbie Roberson was able to fend off an armed intruder with her pistol thanks to the 2nd Amendment which gave her the right to bear one. If having a weapon was illegal, Roberson would have have been thrown in jail which would be no different from the intruder. Having an Amendment that promotes self-defense is a crucial right to have in this day and age.

Cable Network News, Page 1, January 4th 2017
http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/04/health/pistol-grandma-trnd/
#grandmapower
#grandmabond
