This app is basically a mind map app. It is a tool to help students trace their thoughts. One example to use this would be to have students write character charts for the book they're reading. This helps them visualize connections between characters. Students could also use it as a "plot map" to help them comprehend the book. Normally I think this would be something a history class would do but when it comes to English a lot of books, even fictional books, have historical relevance. This is perfect for any creative writing class. I, as a future teacher, would have my students read 5 stories on here before starting their own! Another activity I would do is to have students post their stories on here for others to comment on and see.
