Cyber bullying can cause victims to have no self-worth and engage in reckless behaviors. Sleeping patterns can also be affected such as sleeping more to dodge reality or sleeping less because of the constant thought of being bullied. Victims become less caring to themselves and have no desire to live because they don't value their lives anymore. They are more prone to risk their lives doing activities they normally wouldn't do. In the article "Suicide of 'Laser Cat' Teen is a Wakeup Call" by Jennifer O' Neill, "The theory, she explains, is that in order to engage in suicidal behavior you have to overcome a strong self-preservation instinct. 'You might imagine that someone who does things on the edge might be less fearful when at some point they decide to put their life in danger.” Another case is with Brandy Vela, where she was ultimately pushed to the limit and committed suicide in front of her family. These two severe cases of cyber bullying lead to the death of two people and should be a wake up call to others to help prevent it.

Cyberbullying in all cases affect its victims negatively. For instance like it can lead to the victims going into depression, have suicidal thoughts, etc. Some of these cases of cyberbullying have extreme consequences. This is shown through with the recent case that occured in Texas City, Texas in December, 2016. In the articles by CNN it states how Brandy Vela, an 18 year old teen shot herself with a gun in front of her family. Her family helpless in that situation can only plead with her to put down the gun. However, Brandy had died that day in the hospital. The rationale behind her attempted suicide was the relentless and harsh cyberbullying by anoynomous people online. This case is now still being investigated as the police have not found the people involved in her cyberbullying. Even worse, there are still cyberbullying going on even after her death. They called her big and fat and commented that she should have commited suicide and died a long time ago. These were some of horrific people wrote on social media after Brandy's death. This case just shows how dangerous cyberbullying is and how it should be prevented.

Cyberbullying can affect its victims by significantly pushing them to their breaking point. In other words, the victim is so sick of the cyberbullying, it reaches a point where he or she wants to commit suicide and end their life. Victims may change sleep patterns and become extremely reckless. Cyberbullying can also cause people to become anti-social and depressed. In the article "

Suicide of ‘Laser Cat’ Teen Is a Wakeup Call" by Jennifer O' Neill, it states, "In the context of being a symptom of depression, sleep issues can manifest both ways. Teens could sleep to escape the world or their problems, or they could be unable to sleep if they’re having difficulty shutting their mind down.” This quote proves that different sleep patterns due to depression from Cyberbullying often leads to suicidal thoughts which affects the victim by ending his or her life. Additionally, in the same article, it states, "The theory, she explains, is that in order to engage in suicidal behavior you have to overcome a strong self-preservation instinct." This quote shows that reckless behaviour from victims after completely not caring about their life anymore is a signal of suicidal thoughts. More cleary, since the victim is no longer caring of his or her life, suicidal thoughts are more easier to access their mind and it is easier for the victim to take that action. Like mentioned, cyberbullying often leads to suicidal thoughts which affects the victim by ending his or her life. Furthermore, in the article "Teen who was relentlessly bullied kills herself in front of her family" it states, "They would say really, really mean things like, 'Why are you still here?' They would call her fat and ugly. She was beautiful, absolutely beautiful; the only thing people could find to pick on her was her weight." This quote also proves that such hurtful things pushed the victim to the breaking point where in the end she commited suicide. In conclusion, Cyberbullying often leads to suicidal thoughts which affects the victim by ending his or her life. It can also cause depression and other unhealthy habits to from.

Cyber bullying is a huge problem that always impacts the victims whether its serious or minor. In the worst case scenario Continuous Cyber bullying can push someone to commit suicide. For example in "Cyber bullying follows teen to the grave" People were created fake facebook accounts for Brandy Vela. They posted mean comments and hurtful pictures to the public which pushed her to commit suicide. Similarly in"Suicide of Laser cat teen is a wakeup call" Daven Rodriguez had to live with people making fun of his yearbook photo just because it was different than everyone elses. He felt he had no other option than to commit suicide. Another way Cyber bullying can affect its victims is it can cause the victims to isolate family that are trying to help. this was the case for Brandy and unforturnately her parents were too late.

Cyber bullying can affect their victims by making them feel worthless in life. they don't have the motivation in their daily life and activities which causes them to lose interest and hope for a better tomorrow. To prove this point in the article in CNN it states, "She lost all her self-esteem, lost all her self-worth," he said. This shows how Brandy didn't want to keep living the miserable life she was living. She wanted everything to be normal again without people bullying her in her everyday life. In addition cyber bullying can lead to changes in mood and emotions when talking to others. Their personalities can be affected and be manipulated by those who are affecting them. To back this up in the article on Yahoo it sates, " Crankiness is something that many people don’t interpret as depression or being related at all to suicide risk, but it is." This quote shows us how the everyday crankiness that we may have might not always be from hormonal changes or other things. It can also be caused by others hurting a person emotionally or physically (but in this case emotionally.) Everyday people may walk by and notice you angry, sad, etc. yet they don't know the true cause for why this is happening. Many people shrug it off and blame other stuff yet everyday people may suffer from the same issue yet nobody knows it.

Cyberbullying can affect its victims by leading them to reckless decisions, making them isolated, giving them reasons to feel down and terrible. For example, according to "Cyberbullying follows teen to the grave", it states, "Brandy Vela, 18, shot herself in front of her parents after being relentlessly cyberbullied." This quote shows that a victim, Brandy Vela, committed suicide when she couldn't deal with the pressure anonymous texts put on her. These anonymous texts were designed to give Brandy a demoralization. In other words, the texts were to criticize Brandy in a negative way. Brandy dealt with this by ending her life, so that she wouldn't need to see these texts anymore. In addition, "Cyberbullying follows teen to the grave" states," 'Two days after her funeral, somebody opened up a social media page in her name,' Vela said, 'and people thought the family did it, so it started with people putting sincere condolences. After a few minutes, either four people or the same person posting four times said some things harassing Brandy about being a big fat cow, writing you finally did it with a picture of a gun, writing 'you're a coward, you should have done this a long time ago, some really horrific things.' This quote shows that even after Brandy died, she had still been harrassed. brandy's death hadn't changed a thing about the mean posts people were adding. However, Brandy's dad is trying to do his best to justify Brandy's death. Another article, "Suicide of ‘Laser Cat’ Teen Is a Wakeup Call", states, "Today, recalling the Schenectady, New York 17-year-old is bringing tears to the eyes of everyone who knew him. Rodriguez died on Thursday at home and his parents reportedly tell the Times Union the cause of death was suicide. " This quote also shows that another teen committed suicide due to cyberbullying. Overall, cyberbullying can lead to unintentional conquences, and give disastrous effects.

The affect that cyber bullying may have on victims can vary. For example, cyber bullying can also, lead to irritability, in which the victim(s) become short tempered. Similarly, they may lose their will to live or survive causing them to engage in suicidal behavior.
