Another reason is that people aren't well-informed about political candidates (I'm in this camp). There are only posters with portraits and bright statements - that's not enough to make a choice. I'm convinced that each candidate must present his intentions and kind of a plan (not just catchy slogans) with steps to embody them. Firstly, some people are too busy in order to do something else besides their work or simple don't care about it. 
Personally, I consider that people don't trust politicians whose policies often undermine their faith so people don't believe in their intentions. 
Moreover, citizens struggle because of low wages and due to high cost of living poverty increases every year and a lot of companies have already bankrupt.
I reckon politicians should make a huge difference to boom economy  when they come to power convincing their electorate to vote for them later, for instance, increase salaries, improve working conditions, reduce taxes etc. 
Also, government should involve respectable citizens to take part in essential city events of their neighborhood in order to be close to local people and cosequently to boost its reputation among population.]]> 2021-12-09 12:45:53 UTC https://padlet.com/oksanayudenok85/4403t2g6n5rd6sx6/wish/1938065258 There are different reasons of not voting. And I`m sure, that the main one is the fact that people don`t believe their voice can make a difference. The head of government has been running our country for more than 20 years and any attempt to voice your opinion can be punished. Another reason is also very weighty, that is ignorance. As for me, It`s a real challenge for me to find difference between all candidates. You should gain insight their policy, ideas, aims and of course their personal characteristics. And information, given to us (citizens), isn`t truthful.The government should create some programmes for people to get knowledge about candidates. But they must be straightforward for understanding.  The first reason is the lack of interest. People just don't like politics, they don't follow the news, they don't go to elections because they don't know anything about politicians who stand for elections. 
 The second reason is disappointment. People don't trust the political establishment. They think that nothing will change in the country if they vote.
