My goals this term and in the previous term haven't changed except instead of setting a standard for myself to get an A this term, I decided to be "relaxed" but at the same time still putting in the effort to study and pass my quizzes and long tests. Another goal that didn't change was to have fun in the topics I was going to learn and I did have fun, this term was probably the most fun one so far. Polynomial Functions was my strongest topic this term, I loved doing Synthetic Division and plotting the points in the graph.

This term, the most challenging topic I encountered was sequences and series because I really couldn't fathom the formulas especially the summation symbol. I solved this problem by studying and reading the PPT slides that were provided to me. Another way I solved this problem was by asking help from my classmates on how to solve and find the answer to certain problems.

Ironically, the topic I thought was going to be hard actually turned out to be pretty "easy", the topic I'm talking about is Polynomial Functions. At first, it looked very intimidating because I really didn't know what to expect. When I first heard "Polynomials" I instantly thought "oh no, there's gonna be factoring" there was, but it was still in the very end and there were easier ways to do it. The nature of this misconception probably started because of my lack of the pre-requisite skill required to be able to do this topic which was factoring.
