         <description><![CDATA[<div>We There are two different mental states for students using high-tech means in classrooms. Some students may be more interested in learning contents and the use of multi-media will ignite their passion to complete homework in a more efficient manner. However, the use of multimedia equipment may distract the attentions of other students, who may be unable to fully concentrate on the contents of studying, and eventually they will lose the capability to keep up with the pace of classroom teaching. Therefore, I have come up with two themes.<br> </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Internet can be a distraction</li><li>Students do not have equal access to digital tools (such as, smart phone, iPad …)</li><li>The network information may be false or error. This is a problem when it comes to academic study because if students are seeking information, they could easily come across the incorrect information and not realize it.</li><li>Although technology can have huge benefits, excessive use can be damaging not only to students’ mind, but to their social interaction. </li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The 21th Century is the era of informatization, digitization and networking. The Internet is showing the infinite charm of education with its abundant learning resources and various ways of knowledge representation. Honglu Wang is a Chinese teacher in Mingde Elementary School. With her help, I interviewed the students in 5th to 6th grade via email. Although teachers often use multimedia to give lessons and use online media to interact with students, students are not allowed to use multimedia to finish their homework after class or learn with digital tools in class.<br><strong> I have listed out my questions below.</strong></div><ol><li> Do you learn with digital tools in the classroom? If so, what kind of digital tools?</li><li> Which of the following activities would you use with iPad after class?</li></ol><div>         A. Play games &amp; Watch video. </div><div>         B. Study &amp; do homework <br>    3. Do you like the teacher using multimedia to             teach? Why?<br>    4. Do you like if you are going to use the iPad <br>         to study in the class?          <description><![CDATA[<div>With the constant change of society, education is developing along with the teaching reform. Owing to the further progress of the new curriculum reform, a new teaching method is urgently needed to eliminate drawbacks of the traditional teaching and complement deficiencies of the present education. Currently, with continuous development of information technology, it not only pervades the education field, but also combines with education well. Meanwhile, Self-directed Learning, Cooperative Learning and Inquiry-based Learning become very popular. In such a contest, new literacies become an excellent choice.<br><br>As an academic professional, teacher should how to effectively design and execute a class guided with technology. Though interviewed student, I found that the use of multimedia gives students the chance to receive the new knowledge in a more innovative and direct way. They are also very fond of using different tools to do cooperative study, however, it's their natural instincts to be mischievous and extensive use of technology may distract their attention. So, we need the teachers to make sure that the students are using the technology properly. Because excessive use of science and technology can have negative influence on students' learning and daily life. Besides, teachers also need a lot of time to learn and use digital media tools. <br><br></div>]]></description>
