There has already been integration by some teachers in the past, this year we are using them as credit recovery since we have a large portion of the student body failing. One of those strategies is having the students write a DBQ per quarter in every Social Studies class at every level. These resources will provide the scaffolding needed for the non-AP classes as well as clean versions for those students already possessing the necessary skills. Focus on the CER writing process in all classes – how to harness the skills in order to incorporate them in writing. 

Individual Goal: 

Aligning DBQ’s with HSA government standards.  
Finding away to incorporate one per unit as an skill development where by the end of the year it is a full DBQ/writing.

This doc can blend the AP document analysis (HIPP) with the DBQ documents...plus parts of the long form. 

I hope to work with my MS counterpart and ensure that all HZ students can use the same method/requirements.
