I have a new ELL student that speaks Pashto and he does not know much English at all. I would love to try and incorporate using the translation feature to be able to communicate with him. This would also allow him to better understand the content of what we are learning. I love that it is able to translate both ways.

I could see using this so students can have more complicated texts read to them. Also the translation can help with those who speak more than on language.

As a high school Tech Ed. teacher, I see my students could use Google Lens as a way to identify different types of wood that they are using. I also see them being able to use Google Lens when figuring out measurements and adding/subtracting fractions.

I advise a gardening club and I think this would be a great tool to try out in identifying weeds with my club kids when we are weeding.

We have had three students come into third grade in the last few weeks who speak no English. Our district has not been very supportive in screening these students or offering services so this will aid in getting them assimilated to the classroom.

Being able to translate text is a huge win when corresponding with business partners overseas. I am very excited to use this in our weekly touch points!
