• CONVERSATION: I had one conversation with a colleague about the DOK because I did not have an education degree prior to this program. She was very helpful in showing me how important this was to lesson planning. She explained how I could use different types of technology along with the DOK.

• INSIGHT: One significant insight I gained during the course was the realization that student-centered learning is not a one-size-fits-all approach. It involves adapting teaching resources based on the diverse needs and learning styles of students. This "Ah, Ha!" moment made me rethink the way I design materials, ensuring they cater to different learning preferences and abilities.

• IMPACT: This knowledge has reshaped my approach to lesson planning. I now focus on developing resources that prompt inquiry and allow students to explore topics independently. I incorporate a variety of media to cater to different learning preferences, fostering a more inclusive and engaging learning environment.

INSIGHT: My ah-ha moment was when I realized that the UDLs are the way in teaching to meet every student's learning needs in a way that is broken down easily for a teacher.

IMPACT: Creating a student-centered learning environment is crucial for teachers. Having the chance to learn this and put it into action makes the road ahead of graduate school and teaching a task I am excited to be a part of.
