I decided to take a business class as an elective and take AP classes and honors classes in which I loved my pre-calculus class. Moreover, I joined a few clubs at school as we were still figuring out the school aspect since COVID-19. I joined the photography club at school which was a new club. I helped the club grow as I love photography. I was a very shy person who did not like to interact with people; however, I was forced out of my comfort zone as I had to photograph for school events which helped me to build my social skills. Moreover, I learned how to interact with people professionally. I took AP Calculus BC which I enjoyed even though it was a challenge; however, I now have Calculus I and Calculus II credit at the UA. I was completing the two-year business CTE course to prepare for the state assessment to earn my certification for business. I did earn by business certificate from the state; moreover, I earned my Microsoft Word 2016 certificate and my Microsoft Excel 2016 certificate. I was the photography club president at my school in which I learned to do fundraisers and events to earn money which showed me about the "marketing aspect" of business. Additionally, I was involved in many clubs which helped me build my communication skills. For the school, I was the person who would make most of the advertisements for events at school so that the school would post it on social media.
