Innocent people are murdered brutally, while people come to fight this big issue in their community.
They peacefully stand for what is right, until others authorities come and start a fight.
With President Tuump saying "Don't worry" And police using excessive violence, they think that us citizens will just scurry.

But it turned out the year we weren’t expecting to come.

First month of January, Australia had wildfires
That had gotten everyone else feeling dire.

Or who will be decked...

Later, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna passed away...
It made everyone’s day turn gray
Both were legends that everyone inspired to be
Now we can’t find happiness without them being the key

A month later, a deadly virus had spread globally and killed innocents
Governments had to keep thousands of people quarantined for months
Doctors hadn’t found no cure…
Which kept people in fear of dying...

Murder Hornets was a thing
It's what fear brings
Thinking all day inside of this house, what would come worse ?

End of May, a white police man brutally murdered a black man..
I wonder why does racism continuously happen?
Aren’t we all human beings who are trying to live?
George Floyd was a husband to a mother, not a thief with a gun
So thats why people stood up and fought for their rights
Leading America can be bright.

Living In A History Book While we either stay at home because of Covid-19 Or march with the people like they are doing all around the world We all have to admit that we are living in a history book One where many people have lost their lives But we're still here marching together as we rise And someday soon my baby brother will learn all of this at school When he comes from school asking about 2020 I’ll just look at him and say nothing because I would never want to talk about 2020 again. Since there have been so many events and deaths this year. Making it the worst year I’ve ever lived and hopefully the last which is why you gotta admit. We're Living In A History Book.

Walking out again with my itchy mask and head down,
scared to look at how the world has changed over these past few months.
Scared I’ll realize that the world isn’t the wonderful place I always believed it was as a kid. Scared I will have to face the reality of the world we live in.
I walk into the store across the street and try to make this run as quick as possible when I notice a black teen walk in. Immediately as my things are being checked out I noticed the store checkout person eyeing everywhere he goes like he’s a wanted criminal.
I was handed my bag, got my money back and left.
On the way home I couldn’t stop thinking about the events I saw. It’s unfair how black people have an automatic dangerous and violent label on their back where ever they go.
I see on the news the police brutality that has been going on. I’d usually turn off the tv because hearing of stories like that unease me.
But they're not just stories, they're reality.
This is the real world and together we face it day by day. Everyone can make a change if we just follow the pandemic rules and respect one and other no matter their race, skin color, or etc.
This is America and people can help make a change.

Freedom is determined once change is decided.
We can't expect change is freedom is denied.
Another father another son, how many will we lose for freedom for US.
We have finally chose the right life for us, but some have decided it just isn't enough.
The looting, the bullets, there's more to come but if you're determined there's justice for us.

I don't think you think that, but I do.
Many people think that just because it's summer, we don't have to wear a mask or keep our distance, but we do because the hot does not kill the germs.

but people are still being oppressed

No one should have to worry about being murdered, or hurt because of their race
We all bleed the same so why cant we all be treated the same
These days, history has been going backwards for wrong reasons!
