In Fernado Botero’ painting, there are four people and they keep a straight face.

They are exaggerated and look fat and chubby. The woman is sitting on the sofa and holding her baby. The man is standing and holding his son’s right hand. we see the pet stand still next to the woman and it looks lovely. 

In Eva Armisén’s painting, It seems that there are two families. They smile and look comfortable relaxed and peaceful. I thought that they went on a picnic in Spring and the children have a loving and caring family. The painter drew it realistically without the exaggeration. But their faces are usually drawn round. The girl has a cat in her arms. You can see a dog wagging a tail. 

In both paintings we see family members. However, the two painting have some differences. 

First, in Fernando Botero’s painting, people were drawn exaggeratedly but in Eva Armisén’s painting, the artist drew the picture realistically.

Second, in Fernando Botero’s painting, people didn'’t have expression and they kept a straight face. His picture looks rigid and unnatural. In Eva Armisén’s painting, people smile and they look comfortable relaxed and peaceful. Her picture looks lovely, warm and natural. 

They showed their picture according to their own painting style. 

Those paintings are in different styles. 
First one is categorized as an Early Renaissance piece, and the other one is taken as Rococo.

Those two are both painted on canvas, but Botticelli used Tempera technique, and Boucher used oil for the painting

In Kim Hongdo's paintings, white and black were used as a whole in the paintings. In the painting, one student is crying, and the rest of the students are laughing at him. Almost all of the students are dressed in the same clothes, and the teacher has a long black beard. We can see students not study very hard.

In contrast, various colors were used in the paintings by Jan steen similarly, one student is crying, but the rest of the students are doing their own work. The students are all dressed in different clothes, and the teacher has a long white beard. We can see students study hard, too.

However, we can also see something in common in two paintings.

Both paintings have a background as a school.

In Kim-Hongdo’s painting, we can feel oriental.

In Jan steen's painting, we can feel the Western feeling.

They showed their picture according to their own painting style.
