  • A description of each organization, including their purpose/mission, target population, specific services and activities, and the impact they have on the community.
  • A paragraph explaining why you chose each organization; how does it fit in with your personal values, beliefs, and interests?
  • Any other graphics, statistics, or facts that help your audience understand the importance of the organizations you chose.

You will use your laptop's webcam to record your video.  In this video, you should tell
  • the purpose of your portfolio
  • give a quick overview of each charity you chose to profile
  • tell the ONE (of the three) charity you would be most likely to support and why.

Please make sure you write and practice a script before you record.  Remember, your goal is to speak clearly and fluently. 

When you've recorded your presentation and saved it, be sure to upload your video to your Google Drive and embed a link to it in your Philanthropic Portfolio.

This project will last about 7 weeks and is due at the end of Quarter 1.  If you work on it a little each day, you'll have plenty of time.  You can always ask your classroom teacher or Ms. Thompson for help!
