I think it was the training session provides further readings or information, with shared the training materials for future reference. Preferred to be a structured training with many case and example for reference and to support some abstract idea.

With too many interactive sharing session which seems to be led by the participants instead of the speaker.

Not structured which is always drove away from the main topic

Too lengthy, only touch on some points instead of in depth knowledge

No materials shared after the training

It was a complex topic and it would have been helpful to have a final summary of the all of the main learning as I'd forgotten some of the detail by the end

Clear training materials, lots of reference to research and how this linked to the material. Opportunity to talk about the learning and ask questions. Time for reflection and simple quizzes which test your learning and help you realise you understand the material

Clear information, which is backed up with evidence. Structured well and clear in the process of what is being trained on.

I do not like when training does not have resources to access afterwards to reflect on. Also when requires too much input from learners such as role play / break out rooms.

Lots of 'waffle', no connection to my role/me, monotonous, lengthy, dry, being in break out rooms for the majority of the time hearing other delegate's opinions but not feeling like I was being taught anything.

I always like Training that is particularly engaging, enlightening and warm and friendly in delivery, will plenty of where to go and supportive information signposted and if needed

Non engaging. Trainers who can't be bothered or appear to be asleep. I don't mind Powerpoints however make it snappy and fun. Learning sticks more with a bit of fun or energy.

Difficult when there are too many group tasks as this often takes up a lot of time and input from participants rather than teaching from the leader. Can be uncomfortable when its not a topic that you are familiar with, can sometimes feel self-taught with no clear 'right' answers.
