Those were the thing to have. The DS was medium sized touch screen that flipped open like a phone, but with the touch screen you had to use a pen. Your fingers wouldn't work. It was my first ever mobile game device and I was in love with it.  Then came the DSI and DSI XL. The DSI size changed only by .25 and the DSI XL was a lot bigger. The DSI and DSI XL both had better graphics, more game options, ability to use wifi, camera, filters, and the DS had none of that. Then shortly after that came the 3DS when I was about ten or eleven. My younger brother got that and let me use it at times. Since the DS company was owned by Nintendo, which owned Wii, it was a lot like the Wii. You could costumize characters and use them in games, better camera quality, recorded audio, gave you the option to shop for games, and had a switch to turn it from 3D to not 3D. It had 64 MB of memory. Just enough for 18 songs during 1998. As the years went into 2001, the first Apple IPod was made. Which had 5GB of music storage into a white box no bigger than a deck of cards. When I was born, which was 2002, they kept coming up with better innovations. My dad actually has the very first IPod which i've seen and tried using it, but not sure it works anymore. The graphics weren't all that great as they are today, but it was better than nothing. I remember I used to have this tiny thick TV in my room and I would stare at it for hours which probably wasn't smart on my part, but it was highly entertaining to me. I had three thick TV's in my house for the longest time. When ever my mom and I would go out to the store and we passed by the TV section, I would notice that they looked some what thinner than the ones we had at home and wondered why we didn't have those instead. Soon after having those heavy TV's we bought 4 skinny VISIO flat screens with HD. I know that recently the have made curved flat screen which is really cool too.
