In chapter one, page six the novel stated, "District Twelve. Where you can starve to death in safety.". This shows how easy it is to starve even if you are in a safe place. This affects Kattniss because she almost dies of starvation but Peeta gives her some food. I know like every story has a happy ending and sometimes I don't want a happy ending but with this story I really just wished at the end they would have a happy ending with Peeta and Katniss. Because I feel like they deserved it after everything they have done to win the hunger games and even before. They were poor. So I just feel like they deserved to have a happy ending. My favorite part was whenever Peeta and Katniss kissed because They are the best couple. My least  favorite character was  because Katnisses little sister because of her duck tale.
If I could change one thing, it would be how the game masters were changing the rules during the game because I feel like it is unfair. One technique the author used that I really liked was flashbacks because they really helped me understand a character. One example of this is when Katniss has a flashback about her dad . I would not recommend this book because The ending really makes you mad.

This means that kattniss's sister would have to fight in the hunger games.
