2-Read the lesson D "Thinking outside of the box" from the Unit 7: Problem Solving of the book Touchstone Student's Book #4.

3-Get familiar with the vocabulary and grammatical structure (different forms of words and collocations/simple present) and use it for the reading activity.

4-You must work alone.

5-Write down on your own a proposal persuading a company to stop polluting a river. You can do it using Microsoft Word or Google Docs (if you are not able to use these technological resources, you can write down your proposal on your notebook).

6-Your proposal must have:

• The presentation and explanation of the problem

• Offer a solution and explain its benefits

• Explain how the solution will be enforced

  
  

7-Then, make sure every part of your proposal is written in no less than 15 sentences but no more than 20 sentences.

8-Use the font Century Gothic, size 14, space 1.15 between sentences, wide margins, and convert the document to PDF when you finish it.

9-Do not copy and paste from the internet or use AI; you will get a grade of 1 if you do it.

10-Add a cover page.

11-Upload the document to a space provided in Padlet (in case you wrote your proposal in your notebook, take pictures of the pages and the cover page).
