They will help you figure out any problems. Start out with easier AP classes (Ap psych, Ap Lang, Ap gov) also dont forget that there are dual credit classes which are MUCH MORE easier. When you enrol in dual credit classes you don't have to take the Ap test and you still get the credit. There are MANY dual credit classes, take advantage of them and get college credit. Make sure you pick your classes according to your career pathway, it isn't required to have one, but if you complete the requirements for the pathway it will loook really good on college apps. Start looking colleges as soon as you can. If you find a college that you really like, try to take classes that will impress that college. Find out the colleges preferences. Ex. Do they like extra-curriculars, do they want act or sat, etc... I would say to try out at least one sport in your freshman year, because it is your easiest year and it will be easy to juggle the two. It is usually good to be able to take calc ab and bc back to back consecutive years. It might be hard to remember calc AB if you take stats in between. If you are going to be a senior deciding between calc and stats, first look at the colleges you are applying to and see if they have any preferences. Many business programs prefer you do some calculus in high school. Otherwise make the decision based on which you are more interested in. Stats has been said to be easier, but regardless of which class you are in you will need to work hard.
