Erwin Schrodinger was very interested in mathematics and used it for the basis of his main discovery, Schrodinger's Equation. This equation, related to quantum mechanics, explains the function of particles and waves. Today, this equation is still used to determine how energy moves in different metals. Schrodinger also published his many ideas on electromagnetism and gravity's relation to each other.
