Unfortunately, my artistic skills could only get me so far since I myself am not an artist. I initially wanted to make more pieces than what I currently have but since we have only a certain amount of weeks to work on it I decided to cut my idea in half. I wanted to make this piece as a reflection of my past and the unknown future ahead of me. I initially wasn't going to add wings on the main body but after the recent passing of a close relative of mine I decided to add it as a tribute to them. The bear signifies my childhood, the girl symbolizes younger me, and the main body is symbolizing the future me. The wings are supposed to look incomplete to capture that my loved one died at an early age and its almost like an incomplete life. I wanted to mix realism with a bit of abstract cause I thought it would look good. So I just decided on cutting out cloud shapes and rearranging them to form an interesting shape, soon enough i settled on a crescent moon shape. Then I just started playing around with the support and piecing all my clouds together. Right now I know it looks pretty bland but trust the process the magic comes from the glaze. I chose this design because I know right now people are going crazy over Snorlax designs so I wanted to make something people will for sure gravitate towards. The process of making this guy is pretty silly, the amount of struggle I went through to carve out a part of the big bowl was a real struggle.
